I haven’t had much time with this unit, but subsequent to the install everything appears to be functioning.. Remote works (follow instructions to set that up!).. Install wasn’t exactly smooth, reasoning for only 4 stars.. Had to make modifications to nearly all aspects of parts.. Mounting Brackets for Solenoid were hokey and useless (2nd pic showing old solenoid next to new one).. Power Cables were much too short (1st pic on left) and holes for battery far too small for standard bolt.. See pics..

La pré fois que je me suis servi du treuil le bouton de la manette IN est demeuré coincé et le moteur a grillé. J’accepterais que le vendeur me retourne seulement le moteur car le reste est en bonne état. Ce produit est garanti deux ans et le l’ai acheté en septembre.Mais il est impossible de rejoindre le vendeur . Dans le colis il n'y avait aucun document seulement les pièces. Amazon ne peut me donner ses coordonnées car c'est confidentiel . Amazon me donne une adresse HTPS mais ca me ramène à leur site qui me dit que les trente jours sont échus et aucun retour n'est possible. Ce que je veux c'est faire respecter la garantie j'ai utilisé le treuil 6 semaines avant que le moteur grille

Winch quality great every thing needed to install. Power wire from batter to controller not long enough same as cables from controller to winch

I replaced this winch because I had a 2500 pound winch that would not quite pull my 12 foot boat up on my boat rack on my truck so I ordered the 5500 thinking it would pull my boat up with no problem but it didn’t do anything it has less power than the 2500 I took off. Total junk for the money I paid for it

It was a lot of trouble getting the mounting bracket to cooperate with the Mule but it was worth the effort because it works quite well and looks great. The only thing that could be better is for the cables from the winch to the controller to be a foot longer.
