Bosch Telescopic Handle With Wheels 80-115 cm - Accessory for Isio, Versions Prior to 2014, Multicolor

This Bosch Telescopic Handle for the Isio is neat, light and via a nifty bracket enables the brilliant little Isio trimmer to be used both on the horizontal and vertical plane, for neat edging. The base of this two wheeled handle incorporates a wire - with the same type of plug as the Isio's charger - so that the handle's trigger switch ( almost identical to the Isio's) can be operated from its moulded grip. A cleverly formed, curved white plastic tube, which has a ferrule, to locate and keep the power lead safely clear of any moving parts, clips around the handle's lower bend. Adjustment of this handle's length is by means of twisting a neatly fitted orange coloured friction grip, which, when the correct length is chosen can be locked off via its inbuilt thread. I think this is an accessory which is hard not to like as its alloy tubed lightness betrays its strength. Also the wheels are light, but robust. Can't help but recommend this product as an almost necessary adjunct to the Isio's versatility. And anyone with back pains will be saved the effort of bending down or kneeling to trim edges or verges. Yet again Bosch comes up trumps with a product to enhance the Isio experience! It gets better! Absolute Crap. HOWEVER!, having looked at reviews for the "Bosch ASB 10.8 Cordless Li-Ion Hedge Shear Telescopic Handle" I decided not to buy this system and went for the ISO system instead. Out of the box the handle is as useful as a chocolate tea pot, but can be fixed by bending back and increasing the angle of the pole at the base next to the cable. By doing this the pole is less vertical and is much easier to push. The system works well and saves us kneeling to cut edges and produces a much better result than a strimmer. If the issue of the handle with the ASB system is the same as the ISO I would have preferred to have bought the more powerful one and sorted the handle. C'est la vie!

I have used a pair of long handle grass shears for quite some time to go around the edges of my lawn. Although it took some time, it was worth the effort to see the neat results. I saw the Bosch Isio Grass shear advertised and thought that this would be ideal as it would considrably reduce the time taken to do this task. I was fortunate to receive one as a birthday gift. The time taken to do this task was reduced considerably from about 45 minutes down to ten minutes. I had no idea that the telescopic handle was available until I read the leaflet accompanying the product. I purchased this item via Amazon and now as well as speeding up the task of cutting the lawn edges it has also removed the discomfort of having to kneel down to the job. The attaching of the handle to the Isio is a bit awkward but you just have to make sure its firmly connected before connecting the electrical lead to it.

This handle makes an easy extention for the grass shears. The telescopic handle is neat making it ideal for all height of gardener, no more back breaking bending or kneeling down. The shears slide onto the handle at the base, providing this is correctly in the slot it becomes a very secure one piece, plus the added rotation enables easy edging top and side of the lawn edge. Downside keeping the shears level when top cutting so as not to dig into the grass, however this is more down to the operator than the product. Excellent product! very quickly delivered once again from Amazon.

Bosch Isio Telescopic Handle I found the handle awkward to fix to the isio And when I removed it broke a tiny piece of plastic off the handle which meant I couldn't use it again.This was my first attempt at using it. I should have returned it under gaurantee but I was at the time under a lot of pressure and forgot about it.I recently unearthed it & wondered if anyone else had had the same problem?

I bought this and the Isio twin pack to replace a broken strimmer. Not my favourite garden tool, does not do exactly what I expected it to. Does not do a very good job of hedging the lawn, flimsy and not easy to guide. Cutters do not sit out far enough from the frame and the wheels when turned on it's end. When using it to cut flat areas the angle is awkward and gave me a bad back. All in all, not that useful. I will be buying a new strimmer next year.

This handle is fairly essential for hand-held Isio users if you suffer from a bad back or you want to use the main device for pruning high bushes. It's easy to fit and even easier to use and means that at you can use the machine for most of your trimming, pruning and tidying-up needs for more or less all your garden needs up to a height of about 8 feet. Good value from Amazon too as I've seen it cost much, much more through the normal garden centre and diy store channels.

The trimmer itself is a good tool, but the telescopic handle is a waste of space! Does not support the trimmer adequately and is too flimsey.

This trimmer does everything it says it will. The charge lasts a fair amount of time and it does do the very small jobs. However, it really chokes up on anything bigger than very small jobs. Main complaint is having to hold the switch on while operating-hand cramps up. Tried to duck tape switch on to no avail.
