She also appreciates that the formula doesn’t cause any stinging or burning upon application. Overall, she is highly satisfied with the effectiveness and convenience of Refresh Optive Advanced, making it her preferred choice for managing dry eye discomfort.

Just What I Needed
I occasionally have dry eyes, so I wanted some eye drops. Usually I get a small bottle, which is OK, except that once I've opened it, the drops tend to go bad after a while. It wouldn't matter if I used the drops every day, but I don't. Maybe once a week. So the usual bottles go bad before I'm even halfway through them. These single-use vials are a great solution. I only use one at a time. The rest remain sealed, so they don't go bad. There is enough liquid in the vials to thoroughly lubricate both eyes. I'm glad I found these.

Had cataract surgery and tried using a. Couple different brands ans versions of eye drops. I keep going back to this Perservative Free one. It makes my eyes feel refreshed and helps with dry eyes. Definitely recommend.

Dry eye MGD these are the best!
I've had dry eyes for years and these are the best eye drops when my eyes bother me! The mega 3 drops are too salty and irritating in comparison. These optive drops are just nice and moisturizing so my already irritated eyes.

Works better (for me) than other formulations
Refresh Optive Advanced Lubricant Eye Drops - Very comfortable, the best I've found of the current options (2025) Not as good as Hypotears used to be before it was bought out and shut down, but works better for my dry, sensitive eyes than anything else. The Refresh I had been using the last 5 years that was okay changed now says "hydro cell technology" and says the product didn't change, but that stuff irritates my eyes now. Glad I quickly found Refresh Optive Advanced Lubricant Eye Drops. I tried one other permutation before trying this one, and it didn't work either. I think the eye drop manufacturers are crooks for changing the formulations.

Great eye drops…
I am liking these so far. I have also tried the Systane PF drops and consider both to be equally as good. I will make future buying decisions based on price and will use either brand.

Finally found the right drops for me
I've tried many drops and ointments over the years. These are the best OTC drops for me. The only thing better is my homemade Manuka honey drops. These leave my eyes feeling moisturized for a decent amount of time. I use them at bedtime, too, and no longer wake up with crusty eyelashes.

Good
I suffer from 4 types of blindness and have a dr for each type. One thing they all agree on is otc tears are well worth it but do not buy bottles. Bottles have preservative which dry out your eyes. These are single day use containers which hold several drops each. The top can be replaced and you can use it several times. But throw them out at the end of every day. ( I will put one next to my bed- I wake with eyes dry enough to need immediate moisture but I throw it out in the am- sometimes after using it one last time). That way I know mine are newly opened and good to use. While the company depends on what you like, I’ve used this company for 20+ yrs now and use 2-5 of these daily depending on weather, etc. and can recommend them without reservation. I buy a couple of their formulas and use as needed. Try them until you find one that keeps your eyes moist at least 3 hrs, then use that as needed. If it’s not working that long, see a dr please.
