Aveda Comforting Tea Bags, 20 Count

As a lifelong tea enthusiast, I've tried countless brands and blends over the years, but Aveda Comforting Tea holds a special place in my heart. I first came across this tea at an Aveda salon in the 90's, and it was love at first sip. I knew right then I had to get it for my home, and I wasn't disappointed! This tea has been my go to and a permanent staple in my home for 30 years. The flavor profile of Aveda's Comforting Tea is just divine. It's a soothing blend of licorice root and peppermint that manages to be both sweet and refreshing at the same time. I've always found licorice root a bit overpowering and I personally don't like it at all either in other teas or other snacks, but in this one, it's perfectly balanced with the coolness of the peppermint. The taste is rich and complex, and it leaves a pleasant, lingering aftertaste that I absolutely adore. I will mention here that I've tried other brands that some swear are "exact" imitations. This claim could not be further from the truth. (At least based by my taste). But it's not just the taste that I love. This tea is caffeine-free, making it the perfect beverage for winding down in the evening. The aroma itself is so calming and therapeutic, it's like a spa treatment in a cup. I swear, I can feel my stress melting away with each sip. It's my go-to drink after a long day, and it never fails to relax me. This is also the perfect go to if you're feeling under the weather. I love just breathing in the aroma while it cools. For me, I do believe it sooths sinuses and tension headaches. Preparation is a breeze too. The tea comes in loose leaf form and instant bags, so you can adjust the strength (or ease) to your liking. I personally prefer mine a bit on the stronger side, and it's nice to have that control. In a nutshell, Aveda Comforting Tea has been a delightful addition to my daily routine. It's so much more than just a beverage - it's a little ritual of relaxation and self-care. I wholeheartedly recommend it to all tea lovers and anyone who could use a bit of comfort and tranquility in their day.

This is the perfect tea! I am an Aveda lover and I have many products. This tea has a faint sweetness and I actually use it as dessert as it satisfies my cravings after dinner. You can drink it hot or cold. I prefer it hot. The licorice root might be the sweetness at the end. Not a licorice flavor though. I have convinced so many to try this and they love it. A bit more expensive than other teas, but I won't buy anything else.

I love this tea but it's definitely not for everyone. If you hate a sweet/ peppermint taste don't get this. However if you like one or both MUST GET. I LOVE this tea. It's very refreshing and no sweetener needs to be added. It's naturally tastes sweet and a cooling effect after the sip. Best when hot but can be served Iced. Great gift for tea lovers! Price wise I think they should lower it. It is a bit expensive (for me) and honestly this tea at that this price should change. I got this tea just for myself. I am a person who drinks coffee and tea each 3× or more. As a heavy drinker I have to limit my intake of this type of tea because I'd probably go thought it within a week or less. Pros and cons. Take what you wish from this but I love this tea a lot.

Mint, anise, amazing. Relaxing & sweet. This box is $20 at the Aveda store or on their website. Not clear why Amazon is now charging $35 :(
