Must Have!
I have about 300+ houseplants and they all require different levels of care. So far, this reader has been extremely easy to use and I love the function of being able to save readings in the app. It lets me know when my plants are depleted on nutrients and also if I need to flush them before I actually see signs of salt build up. I have dropped it so many times and it has withstood the abuse of my clumsiness and keeps kicking. The batteries have lasted so far without me having to change them. I like the fact that it reads the relative humidity in the room as well. Overall, I would say that for the money this is a wonderful product. I have seen others for twice as much cost that do not offer the variety of readings that this reader can calculate so the value is there for sure! My one con would be that I wish it could read NPK individually but maybe the technology just isnโt there yet. As you can see in the photo, my Doc Block Michelle was waaaay too high in PH in the soil but the fertility was low so I was able to correct that with a heavy dose of fertilizer at a low PH.

Donโt recommend using iPhones
Too complicated to use. I have a second moisture meter which test pH and moisture and this one does not read the same. Also, the app to use the device has too many red flags on my phone my phone.

I was unable to connect due to poor wifi, but now at home I love it!
I apologize to the company for having my 1 star up for a couple of days, I hope it didn't deter anyone! I was trying this away from home, but at home it was a breeze, with the app open I never had to open my bluetooth settings. I have close to 200 houseplants and it is so nice to be able to not only see the moisture levels on watering day, but seeing the pH and salinity displayed so quickly is extremely helpful. I know instantly what adjustments need to be made. For rare plants that are having some issues I can log certain results to check if my changes are working. I love it, couldn't love it more, wish I had waited to review, highly recommend!

I want an American version
This product sucks. I can't get it to pair. It's Chinese and wants to track me all of the time even when it's not in use.

Handy device for healthy plants.
This is so handy for my green house. I can test to make sure my food is growing in the most optimal environment for it's needs. It did take me a minute to get it to read on my cell phone. It is more complicated to figure out than I would have liked. But once I did it has made a handy device to have.

IT WORKS ๐พ๐พ๐พ๐พ๐พ and provides a ton of detailed information about your plants. Buy it now
UPDATE- after initially raiting this product as a one-star product, I refused to give up That's just me I don't like giving up or losing. So I went back at it again I took the meter I removed the batteries and I waited about 10 seconds I placed the batteries back in the meter fired up the meter and then made sure the app was not running on my phone so that I could start it fresh and immediately the meter was picked up after that so finally got it connected to my phone. It does give a lo A TON of great information about your plants or your garden. It's just like I said before the fact that you need to download an insecure app from a website in China and the difficulties with pairing the device should not be. Also as well as the large number of batteries required to run this device is unfortunate. However it does give a tremendous amount of information about your plants the pH, the fertility of the soil, the light, the temperature, EC, salt content of soil and lastly moisture. I don't know of any other devices that provide this level of information. I just wish it hadn't given me so many problems in getting connected and that the app was available in the Play store. ORIGINAL REVIEW- It would be nice if this tester with it s many different functions had some kind of display where you would be able to use it without the app. There are several problems with the app the first of which is the app got booted out of the Play store and you have to go to some website in China to download the app. Upon which your phone will present you with a warning this is unauthorized software and then you have to override that warning to load the app. So being adventurous and really wanting to be able to evaluate this test or I went ahead and downloaded the app. Despite downloading the app and turning on Bluetooth and following the instructions and allowing all the permissions the tester fails to connect to my brand new Galaxy s24 ultra. That is even with the app properly installed all the permissions granted, turning Bluetooth on and off, turning the meter on and off. So I'd say this product is a failure. There isn't even an option in the app to start pairing I guess because it's supposed to start automatically but it never does. If you try to pair the device manually in Bluetooth settings it says an app is needed to use this device. While I already loaded the app and it's not working so the company has this device lockdown they want you to download their app from a Chinese website and even after all of those risks the device still doesn't function. The other problem is it uses four AA alkaline batteries, thankfully which are included. However this can get very costly in the long run. Ideally the device should have been made with a rechargeable lithium battery
