Borax was a game changer for my oily sheets as a massage therapist. It was honestly the missing ingredient. I'd add detergent, dawn, and vinegar to the laundry and I would still have oil stains and my sheets would start to smell. My husband even complained about it and it would be embarrassing for me when I had to use sheets that had the stains... I finally became privy to borax and the recipe to clean oily sheets as a massage therapist, which was what I was already doing but minus the borax. No more smells, no more stains. And even better. It's cleaned up my old sheets and towels beautifully. My white towels used as hot towels started to get grungy looking... I'd use them on the feet... I can't say they came out looking brand new, but I can say there was a HUGE difference in their cleanliness coming out of the washer after just one use! I don't measure this, I just eye ball it honestly, but it's super easy to use. I do kind of wish there was a bigger size. I am a bulk buyer and because it's better to wash one set of sheets at a time (oil is no joke), I feel like I will go through this more quickly than I like. But if you're using for basic house hold cleaning, this would generally last a while. The value is pretty good, but again, I am a preferred bulk buyer and would like to see a larger size for better cost effeciency.

Our HOA demands we keep our garbage cans in our garage! That's fine until the Texas hell heat arrives, not only the smells, but flies like to lay their offspring. Had a bad infestation during just a one week span. Wife was going crazy of course and I looked into it and saw flies hate this stuff. Every trash day I add one scoop after pickup, not once have I seen one insect, or their offspring since. Better than sprays or nasty chemicals. This really does work. Just kind of expensive, and wish I could buy a bigger bucket. I almost need a new bucket. (I was going to give it 4 stars due to the pricing is high, but this has been such a game changer in pest control)

Moved where we have well water and it has lots of calcium and hard minerals in it. I put this in with my laundry to keep it from ruining my washer.
