I have tried various litters and inlays for my two cat's litter trays and the Catsan Smart Pack is the only one I now use.There are two inlays in each pack, which come securely packaged. Once open, there is a strong adhesive strip holding each inlay together. Once this is removed, the inlay is unrolled to reveal the litter and the elastic band which is used to secure the whole thing into place in the tray. The size is big enough for a large litter tray.The litter itself is quite large in texture and I have found this reduces the tracking around the room. The absorbent liner also absorbs much of the smell. Despite one of my cats being an enthusiastic digger, the liner has never torn or ripped.Although slightly more expensive than buying separate litter and liners, the ease and convenience of the Smart Packs make them very good value for money.

Convenient, easy to clean - perfect!

I recently tried out the Catsan Smart Pack Cat Litter, upon a friend's recommendation. As someone who has been using regular Catsan litter for quite some time, I was excited to give this new product a whirl. However, after using it for a while now, I have mixed feelings about its performance.Firstly, let me start by highlighting the positives. The Catsan Smart Pack Cat Litter does an excellent job in terms of odor control and clumping ability. It effectively keeps any unpleasant smells at bay, leaving my home smelling fresh and clean. The clumps formed are tight and easy to scoop up, making the cleaning process hassle-free. This aspect alone earns it a decent rating of 4.However, when considering the price difference between the Catsan Smart Pack and their regular litter, I must admit that I am slightly disappointed. While I had hoped that the Smart Pack would last longer due to its unique design and packaging, I found that it didn't live up to my expectations in terms of longevity. Considering the higher price tag, I expected it to be more cost-effective in the long run. Sadly, this was not the case.Another drawback worth mentioning is that these smart packs do not fit all types of cat litter trays. If you have a standard rectangular tray with no raised sides or unusual shapes, then you're good to go. However, if your tray deviates from this norm in any way, you may encounter difficulties fitting the Smart Pack correctly.Overall, while there are certainly positive aspects to highlight about the Catsan Smart Pack Cat Litter such as its superior odor control and clumping ability, I personally feel that it falls short when considering its value for money compared to regular Catsan litter. Additionally, the limited compatibility with certain cat litter trays can be quite inconvenient.So, despite giving it a rating of 4 out of 5 due to its positive attributes mentioned earlier, I have decided that I won't be purchasing the Catsan Smart Pack Cat Litter again in the future. Instead, I will stick to the regular Catsan litter that has served me well and offers better value for my money in my opinion.

In my opinion it's the best cat litter to use.

Makes changing and cleaning my cat's litter tray a quick 5 minute job, instead of the chore it used to be. I was a little concerned about the increased environmental impact, but I think it just about balances (or I'm trying to justify it): less water and less abrasive and harsh chemicals to clean up; no more accidental breathing in of the litter tray dust cloud as you attempt to empty it into a bin liner. Changing the litter tray is now inbetween cleaning the dishes and changing bedsheets in the scale of onerous housework.

After buying these I managed to find them a lot cheaper elsewhere but that’s my own fault for not shopping around first. They are, however, really useful. I’m disabled and was finding it quite a task to change the litter in the tray but these are so simple!Unfold into an empty tray, tuck the inbuilt liner under the tray and you’re done. When it’s time to change it you pull the sides from under the tray, fasten the inbuilt drawstring and that’s it. Just pop a new one in. I don’t dread changing the litter anymore
