No top safety rail with normal mattress
We love the bed butโฆ. Take note of the top rail. It is 13โ. We have a 12โ mattress. I donโt think we can let our grandchildren sleep up there which defeats the purpose for us. Appears to be very sturdy and it looks good. Not sure about usefulness. Edit - My wife fixed it. Couple a hundred and a few rails later and everyone is happy!

Sturdy and easy to put together
It came quickly and in good shape. My husband and I who are in our 60โs were able to put this bed together in 2 hours. It is sturdy and safe for my grandchildren. I think they will love it!
