Product at suggested rate has plenty of that sweet taste I want. I use lemons, water and add this in to make an easy lemonade.

Tastes like real sugar!
This product is amazing in coffee and drinks. Since I was diagnosed with per-diabetes I have been using this product and cannot tell the difference between this and sugar.

Love Lakanto — but this syrup is awful
I normally love Lakanto products. Their granulated sweeteners and drops are fantastic and don’t have that “diet” aftertaste. Unfortunately this simple syrup tastes terrible. It has a strong artificial diet flavor and strange aftertaste, and the color looks off. I bought it to make limeade with my Drinkmate Omni Fizz, but it ruined the drink and I ended up throwing it away. I’ll stick with Lakanto’s drops or granulated sweeteners, which work great and taste much closer to real sugar.
