Great product. I could see the veins much easier and draw blood quicker. It is easier to see when the room is darker.

I really don't know if it's helping me or not. I only get blinded by the light. Or I'm not really used to adopting this as a part of my routine for hard stick patients. I work as a nurse infusionist. I just tried it on one time it just gives me stress while working on it. I can't give a better review. I tried to shine it on my arms, yes I can see deep veins. I guess it's just getting used to the light. Luckily most of my patients has good veins or they have ports implanted so I'm glad I don't have to rely on it. To others maybe it is really helpful.

This vein finder is super useful for anyone with small or tricky veins. The light is really good, and it works well on different skin tones—my friends have tried it too. It makes finding veins so much easier, definitely worth it!

Only works on light people skin. Can not see the veins on black person skin.

The device works but requires some training in the medical field to obtain the best results possible from it. It only can confirm the presence, size and depth of the veins inspected, after an anatomical guessing of where they can be, is done before. Thats important because the infrared light can affect your vision, making you seeing blue about an hour, so you can't be doing an extensive search with the device too much time. In my case, I take it with me to hospitals and medical labs when a blood sampling its needed, but it doesn't show all my veins, so the technician doing the job needs to confirm the old way where to puncture. Definitely it doesn't have the power of a sonogram or hospital machinery grade but can be helpful in many cases. For the money paid, it's a helpful tool. Also, the device only comes with a limited instruction manual, how to charge, how to control the intensity of light and some suggestion to doing a puncture, but that's all. Don't expect a manual or a video how to use it. It's supposed that the owner has training in using viewing devices for vein search. I wondered why nurses and lab technicians doesn't use this technology more often, but now I understand why. At the end, using the touch sense still its needed. Otherwise, it's a simple and easy of use device.

I love this item. I am a nurse and it has come in so handy when I have to place an IV in a home health patient I have used other vein finders, but this is the best one I have found so far.
