Royale Legend Fishing Reel Spool

I have the first version of the Royale Legend, but it didn't fit. However, I have a Crixus reel and it fit perfectly. This spool works perfectly with the Crixus. I put 4lb mono on it and it casts 1/16 jigs without any issues. Now, this isn't JDM type DBF, but it gives you the ability to try lower weights. If you want to cast the lowest weights, you'll have to go and buy a Kestrel Air.

This was an awesome upgrade for my reel. I now have the ability to quickly change to finesse if I wish when carrying just one rod in wading and walking areas and can just carry the extra spool in my pocket. This item worked perfectly and feels to be a quality product!

Nice fit , a good shallow spool , using thin braid this shallow spool will have more than enough line for standard casts 👍🏽👍🏽

Just took it out for a couple of cast , so this is more like “fist impression “. 1) hard to tie my line to this , it cut my braided line 10 pound , then it cut my mono line 10 pound , just from trying to tie the lines to the spool … 2) created a gap and during a cast it wrap into the spool rod , had to take the side plate off to get it out . Will update once it get warmer to go back out

Saves a lot of line or backing. Still holds a sufficient amount of line for my needs

I had an extra reel here not doing anything ,and found this spool that fit it. I thought, nice, I'll use this as another BFS setup. And sure enough....this thing is awesome! Switched it out in about 2.3 seconds, added some 10lb braided line, and I was set! Now I can throw really small lures with the added benefit of having bigger gearing inside of the reel for those larger fish. Unlike some of the cheaper BFS Reels, this feels substantial when using it. Works great!

This spool fit my kastking royale legend perfectly. Helped with casting lighter lures.

Bought this Kasking shallow spool thinking I’d be out there flicking lures like a bass ninja. Spoiler alert: it’s not great for BFS (bait finesse system) fishing. Unless your idea of finesse is bird-nesting line every 5 feet, maybe keep scrolling. Looks cool, spins fine—but for actual BFS? It’s more like “Barely Functional Spool.”
