I was told to get a wireless mirror and camera. Does this connect wirelessly to a camera?

As a professional installer going on 18 years now, wireless is still not up to par with reliability. It may take an hour to do a full wired camera, and it will be reliable 100% if the time. As for your original question, the mirror accepts any standard rca video input, it does not itself have any components that would receive a wireless signal.

Does this have to be programmed by a dealer to function like a factory radio would
