DJI Cellular Dongle 2, Compatibility: DJI Air 3, DJI Mini 4 Pro, DJI Air 3S, DJI Matrice 4T, DJI Matrice 4E

I bought two units for my Mini Pro 4 and Air 3 drones. The installation was simple and funny. The Chinese manuals, as always, are somewhat confusing and cryptic, so it's best to take a look at a basic tutorial on YouTube (there are thousands). For it to work properly, update your drone and your controller to the latest firmware version. Your controller must be connected to a Wi-Fi network or to your smartphone's Wi-Fi. You will need a nano chip, preferably a new one. If it's a new Nano SIM Card, make sure to activate it beforehand on your smartphone, then browse connected to it for a few minutes and call a couple of phone numbers. This will ensure that the chip is registered with the company and on the network. Afterwards, turn off your phone, remove the chip, and with the drone turned off, follow the instructions and install it. Once that's done, turn on your controller connected to an internet network and turn on your drone. Wait a few minutes, and when the 4G network shows some small dots, go to the Enhanced Transmission option. Upon activating it, the bars will immediately appear, and your drone will be connected to the cellular network. I installed and tested this Dongle in Chile (South America). Therefore, the service and the equipment work without problems outside of China and the United States.

I purchased this knowing it won't work in the US. It doesn't work on the drone itself (Matrice 4) but it does indeed work if you want to use it to get LTE on the RC Plus 2 remote. Very useful to have if you don't want to keep using hotspot to provide WiFi to the remote

This does not work in the United States. I used SIM cards from T-Mobile and AT&T. After hours of troubleshooting, web searches and an ouija board I finally found the following “NOT AVAILABLE IN YOU REGION”. No levanta señal del 4g, a pesar de q ya lo intente con 3 compañias telefonicas. Cuando viaje a otro pais lo probare alli, pero en bs as al parecer no funciona.

Der Dongle von DJI ist nicht gerade ein Schnäppchen aber für mich ein absolutes must have für den Drohnenflug. Ich nutze den Dongle für meine Air 3s sowohl auch für meine Mini 4 Pro. In der Air 3s kann dieser sehr praktisch direkt im Gerät eingesetzt werden und für die Mini 4 Pro benötigt man eine Halterung, welche separat für faire 20€ erworben werden kann. Lieferzeit des Dongles ist normalerweise etwas länger, da sie hier in Deutschland nicht verkauft werden. Da es sich in meinem Fall aber um eine Kundenretoure gehandelt hat war diese direkt Verfügbar und wurde innerhalb eines Tages geliefert. Tolles Teil und mit einer MultiSim meines Netzbetreibers überschaubare monatliche Kosten. Perfekt 👌

Aunque es muy caro, merece mucho la pena para los que volamos en ciudades ya que amplia mucho el alcance de contacto con el control remoto cuando hay varios edificios de por medio. El drone que uso con el dongle es el DJI Mavic Air 3s y funciona bien en Panamá

Fonctionne parfaitement sur mon DJI Air3S. Avec mon opérateur, j’ai droit à une carte SIM partagée. Ne pas oublier de désactiver le code SIM , sinon ça ne fonctionne pas.

Me encanta, bajo cosumo de bateria y pude (hasta ahorita) volar mi AIR 3S a casi 7 km de distancia en ciudad. Solo debe volarse no muy alto para que capte bien el 4G. En Mexico me funciona bien.
