The product is brilliant and is doing its job well. But I had issues with the guys who turned up for installation. I ordered this product in Pune. I was told that the cutting in the loft would have to be done by myself, as the guys who would come for installation won't be able to do any woodwork. Now the technician just visited to do the marking as to where to get the whole cut. Without even checking the model once, he just marked with a pen a circle at the centre of the two cupboards between which the installation was to be done. The carpenter came and did the cutting. Later when the technician turned up, he realized that the model had the duct a little to the left. But the damage was already done. I had to ask him to come back again with a carpenter from his side now, as I had already paid the carpenter for the earlier cutting. Next day, he said He will not be able to arrange the carpenter and that I should arrange one. Luckily I had one another carpenter's number. I called him and he had to cut a hole square this time to get the unit tucked up. Also now the technician did another grave mistake, without proper measurement, he cut the side cover of the chimney citing that it would be needed to hand it up on the bracket that came along with the chimney. But after some adjustments, I realized that the cutting of the cover was not required. I had to call up his manager to tell him the whole story. The manager said he will order a spare cover and come to get the one damaged replaced. But the manager never turned up and stopped replying to my chats as well. To put it short, the product is doing its job, but the technicians from their Pune center were just horrible. Not skilled at all, they didn't even care what emotions one might have attached to a product like this on one's new kitchen. Attached are pics of their marvelous work.

This chimney is just excellent. I will write a very honest review here. Product packaging and delivery was very good. The delivery person was also very helpful. Thanks to Amazon for dat 👍🏼👍🏼 From the very next day of my ordering this chimney, everyday I start getting call from "Elica" they were asking if the product is delivered or not so dat they could come and install the chimney which shows their commitment towards the customer. And the day the product got delivered to me the very same day they came and installed the product. The installation kit which includes duct pipe n aluminium tape comes with this chimney due to which I only had to pay ₹ 590 as installation charge BUT, my suggestion to the buyers is that, they should look into the box themself to check what else is there in installation kit cos I had to do this myself, people from the company had no idea what is there in installation kit apart from duct pipe. Overall just go for it this Chimney is beauty n works excellently.

Installation done

The product came slightly damaged. The Elica installation person managed to fix that and do a professional installation. The chimney looks good and is not very noisy.

Product is good. But on the purchase end screen we did not get an option where we could click on installation. Neither did the description mention that the installation will take place free of cost. There was no information given to us even after the product was delivered. We had to call amazon to find out. THE TECHNICIAN CHARGED US 1500 INCLUSIVE OF A 1 METER PIPE and the core cutting guy (whose contact we got from the installer) charged us 1800. Please once a purchase is made call your customer and give them information about installation. After the installation was done Elica calls for feedback and says "we shouldn't have paid the installer since the installation was free". How will the customer know this if you don't alert them? Guys buying this product please consider going for an older brand that takes care of all installation and other information. This half hearted information only caused customers to burn a hole in our pockets. Very disappointed with amazon for listing products with incomplete information.

hi Guys. After a couple of conversations with the company and the installation team. here is what it is. 1. You wall needs to have an outlet hole of 6 inches diameter. 2. Amazon gives you discount. BUT..BUT.. FOR PRODUCTS SOLD THROUGH AMAZON THEY INCLUDE PLASTIC DUCT PIPE INSTEAD OF ALUMINIUM ( AS TOLD BY THE ELICA REPRESENTATIVE ) TO ACCOMMODATE THE DISCOUNT ( DISCOUNT PART IS MY UNDERSTANDING) 3. AS YOU MIGHT HAVE GUESSED. PLASTIC PIPE WILL NOT FIT IN OR THE TECHNICIAN WILL CONVINCE YOU THAT IT WILL MELT . 4. ALUMINIUM DUCT PIPE COSTED ME 600 + SOME CAP TO COVER IT 200 + INSTALLATION FEES 500. 5. ALTOGETHER IT COSTED ME 1300 EXTRA. HAD I JUST PAID 1000 MORE THAN AMAZON PRICE ..ALL THE ABOVE WAS INCLUDED. 6. SO PRODUCT IS OK. ITS NOT ABOUT 300 RS. BUT THE WHOLE PROCESS OF FOOLING CUSTOMER DIDNT GO WELL WITH ME.
