Wow. We are in love with this sink. I was so stressed I was making the wrong decision here, with the black granite, but I will never go back to a metal kitchen sink again if I can help it. 1. It looks fantastic, dry or wet, but especially when the water dries there are no spots! It has a matte finish when dry that looks stellar. 2. It hasn’t scratched yet. We’ve only had it about two months, but we’ve thrown in knifes, cleaned an ac vent with sharp corners, and done a lot in those two months. The AC vent initially gave it a small scratch which has since disappeared. 3. It hides the mess. This might actually be so good it’s a con. I have to remind myself to clean the sink because it’s impossible to see the mess. I put a black sponge mount on it and you barely tell it’s there. The sponge looks like it’s hanging in mid air. Ha! 4. It’s large. Holds everything. 5. I was worried about the drain being off center, but man, was I wrong. We can keep dirty dishes to one side and use the drain side for rinsing and cleaning - all the pros of two sinks, without the dated look! I made a lot of decisions renovating our kitchen, but this sink is one of both mine and my husband’s favorites.

The sink has been installed and it’s absolutely beautiful. I love it. I would highly recommend this sink if you’re looking for a new one I purchased mine in the matte black and I love it.!! Better price on Amazon than a home improvement store!!

Just got this sink installed and it is beautiful. I love how deep it is. Make sure your plumbing is correct, I had to have a plumber connect it because I went from two sink drains to the one with a garbage disposal. Not a big problem just needed a part to make it work. I would recommend this sink.

The last 3 pictures in my series is July 19 2024. The first photo is from install day May 2022. The middle photo is from last year in July M. Two people live in this house. We don't even cook that much, the sink has lost its black color on the bottom. We use no toxic chemicals in this house there is no reason this sink is not its original beautiful black bottom. . I contacted RUVATI and they said use bar Man's friend to get rid of the problem. Which I think increased the problem because what has happened is the black has worn off. We used the rubber mat for a while that I bought in addition to the sink and all that did Was create a mess under the . I am so sad, as it's undercounter installation I guess I am stuck Or better said the F word that rhymes w stuck. Steer clear Of this sink, terrible quality, If the company thinks this is a one off, I really doubt it and I should be refunded. I think I'm going to have to go to a lot of expense to remove the countertop in one piece (hopefully) and get myself a new sink. I can't live with this forever. 😔

Love this sink. No more constantly cleaning water spots on my stainless steel sink. It also has a nice angle so it’s easy to rinse out.

I replaced a cast iron/enameled sink with this Ruvati undermount composite granite sink - and I have been completely happy with the choice. The packaging was good and it arrived undamaged. After nearly three months of use I have no regrets. I was concerned that glass or ceramic tableware may break easily if contact is too hard with sink, but to date it has not been a problem. The surface does not feel as hard and unforgiving as I had anticipated. It has also been relatively easy to keep it clean. A quick wipe with a sponge or dishcloth a couple times a day keeps it very clean. I have had no issues with staining at all (I have a water softener though). I am still surprised how quickly the surface dries out after use. In addition, the black color perfectly matches the new granite countertop that was installed at the same time. Overall, I am completely happy with this product.

This sink is spacious, beautiful, and a great accent for people looking for a large black sink! One thing buyers should note, though: you should coat with olive oil and buff before using, and then continue to do so monthly, or bi-monthly, depending on use. If you don't, your sink will start to get spotty after the first use. To coat, generously drizzle olive oil on the bottom of sink and on a paper towel. Thoroughly and evenly, spread olive oil on sides and bottom of sink, covering the entire sink. Buff off with clean paper towels. I'd also suggest purchasing a silicone mat for the bottom to prevent dishes and glasses from breaking. Based on the undermount of our garbage disposal, we bought a sink with the drain on the right. Keep your garbage disposal undermount in mind when deciding on where the drain hole should be. Our plumber installed.
