Having never come across this paint before I bought it because it includes primer and the project it was being used on gets extreme weather so I wanted extra protection. I am extremely pleased with the convenience of use and the finished result. The paint is viscous but easily stirred with no sediment evident in the base of the tin. It doesn't drip easily, even with a loaded brush and it goes on easily and spreads well without lots of running. It dries quickly and the finished appearance is smooth, even and attractive. For me a critical thing is that the brush can be easily washed in hot water. I always add a little detergent. This worked extremely well. I will buy this paint again.

I used this on my front door and downstairs toilet radiator and I’m honestly blown away and that’s with just one coat. The finish is a beautiful true matte, which is not easy to pull off, but this paint absolutely nails it. It gives such a clean, modern look, no shine, no cheap-looking gloss; just a smooth, velvety finish that instantly makes the whole entrance look more high-end. Application was effortless. It went on evenly with zero patchiness, no dragging, and somehow managed to give full, rich coverage in one coat. No streaks, no brush marks; just a flawless, professional result. What I love most is how sophisticated it looks. It’s that understated, expensive style that completely elevates the door without trying too hard. I’ve already had people ask if I’ve replaced the door entirely. Even after drying, it feels durable and solid like it’s built to last through weather and everyday use without losing that perfect matte look. For a one-coat matte finish, this paint is seriously impressive. Minimal effort, maximum impact. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Coverage is great, a little goes a long way..but it needs a sealing finish, lacquer or wax otherwise it marks easily.. but otherwise a good paint.

I bought this to paint two shelf units in my kitchen. The colour is beautiful; it’s a dark blue with matt coverage and I painted straight on to the wood with no preparation. The paint went on very well; the coverage was smooth. I had thought of using a roller, but went with a brush in the end as there were no visible brush lines at all. A little goes a long way. Initially I was worried that I hadn’t bought enough, but the tin covered two cupboard units and I was also able to paint a couple of boxes as well. The finish looks amazing. This was a trial and error process for me - if the final result looked messy I would have happily paid someone to do them for me professionally, but they have turned out perfectly. I absolutely recommend this paint.

The finish of this paint is, frankly, superb. I am using it for internal woodwork and wanted a nice, modern matt finish. This certainly gives that. I've painted a bedroom door frame and door so far. The door frame itself is good to go with one coat (on top of primer and a couple of coats of - frankly useless - Johnston's Wood and Metal). The finish is incredibly smooth (almost chalky) to the touch and looks flawless. The door needs an additional light coat to cover some areas, but again I can't complain. The paint is a lovely consistency and easy to apply. Having initially bought the 250ml (which completed the work mentioned above), I've purchased another 1l tin to finish the door and skirting along with a couple of other small areas in the house. Yes, it IS expensive but it is definitely worth it.

Brilliant product goes a long way. Other one coat products I have used needed 2 or 3 coats this is definitely one coat. Great value for money. Love the colour. Arrived quicker than expected.

Delivery was quick and the paint was very well packaged. I also appreciated the little clips included to reseal the tin properly after opening. The colour itself is lovely — a soft muted off-white/greige that works beautifully in an older property and is much more forgiving than a brilliant white. It softened the room straight away and blended well with existing fittings and uneven surfaces. However, I was genuinely shocked by how little coverage 250ml gives in practice, especially considering this is marketed as a “one coat” paint and primer in one. To be fair, the size is clearly stated, but because the sizing jumps from 250ml straight to 1 litre and then 2.5 litres, I assumed the 250ml would comfortably cover a very small project. I used this on a previously painted white toilet ceiling (so not a dark or absorbent surface), and one tin was not enough to complete even that small ceiling properly with confidence for touch-ups or a second coat if needed. The paint is also fairly thin in consistency, which probably helps it spread, but also means coverage feels limited when using a roller. At around £13.95 for 250ml, this works out at approximately £55 per litre, which puts it into premium paint pricing territory. Had I realised that beforehand, I may have chosen a more established premium brand instead. The 250ml tin is also much smaller in real life than many people might expect online — roughly the size of a small jar of pesto — so buyers planning even a very small ceiling or multiple surfaces may want to size up immediately. I’ve given this 3 stars because although the colour is genuinely lovely and the finish softens imperfections beautifully, the value for money and realistic coverage expectations were disappointing for the price. That said, the actual colour is genuinely very nice and has helped soften imperfections beautifully in a difficult room.

This paint for me was expensive but it really did what it said only needed one coat and looked fab once my bench that’s 43 years old was painted. Excellent paint

Truly amazed with this paint. Far superior, in my opinion, to the other designer paints. I chose Midnight Matt and this color is a stunning deep, velvety dark blue. Applied smoothly and dried quickly into a velvet Matt, just gorgeous. No odors and a very little goes a very long way. I am definitely going to be purchasing more colors.

This paint is amazing. easy to apply. beautiful finish. no primer used. I would love to order a bigger size for another project but it is expensive.

I was laughing at myself when I received such a smalll can and couldnt help but joke because I figured there is no way this lil can will paint more than a shelf.... well I decided to gamble it because I tend to get into bored zone... so I repainted my bathroom vanity... scuffed it with sandpaper and took a chance. I cant believe I still have some left!!! One coat and it looks awesome!! 👌 Did the side as well thats not in picture and put some stick/peel tape on counter plus some new hardware I had laying around... def like it better then before. Will be buying more of this mighty stuff!!
