Review after 1 month of usage, it works very smoothly with my 5,6yrs old 55 inch 4k tv works lag free the quality is amazing and sound also become better When it arrived it is not working in 4k it was showing 1080p but there is a hidden setting sometimes tv stcik automatically set is to 1080p instead of 4k then i researched a bit and found a hidden settings just press up button and reverse button on your fire tv remote for 10 seconds and there wll be a hidden resolution settings where you can see all the availabe qualities and select it to 4k! Remote and alexa voice commands works perfectly I was tracking its price from aug 2025 then it was around 6k but i waited and got it for 4.5k rs which i think is value for money but not worth 6k if you shown its price 6k then dont buy wait for any next sale you will get it for under 5k for sure Also amazon silk browser works fine if you want to watch any movie on any 3rd party site you can easily watch it.... The experience on my TV with the 4K 2nd Gen Fire TV Stick is smooth and problem-free. However, I’ve noticed that while playing HDR 4K videos on YouTube, it occasionally lags for a few seconds before running smoothly. Other OTT apps work perfectly. The remote also works in excellent condition with no issues — Alexa voice commands respond well, and the power, volume up/down, mute, and sync functions with the TV work perfectly too. I hope the minor YouTube lag can be fixed through a future update.

Very good product picture quality is very nice

This is a review after using FireTV for more than a decade...The device itself is great! but the usage of the Prime subscription is an issue...the reason I bought this is for Prime and other OTT's even though this is a bit more expensive...now with the new Device usage policy for watching Prime video, It does not make sense to buy this device anymore and look for other devices that may be more cheaper. The issue. I have 3 TV's at home (2 TV's and one Home Theater room) as I live in an Independent home, but the device policy is that I cannot use it on more than 2 devices because there is hard binding to the Device on which you play Prime Video. So what does that mean? if I am adding a new device then I will hit the device limit reached error. Though I have three TV's, I only watch on 2 TV's at MAX at any given time. So even if I am not playing on the other devices, I cannot watch it on the third device because the Devices are already registered. The solution (or not) from Amazon is 1) you can manage the device registrations in the devices section of the Prime settings. the downside? I can only do it once every 30 days (absurd) and 2) I can subscribe for Prime Lite but on another account, the downside? Why would I take another prime subscription will I get additional benefits? and that too on another account so my history and preferences are lost. This is probably the worst policy setting I have come across (I have seen this kind of restriction about 20 years back when online streaming was just coming up). Other OTT's have device limits but the limit is checked based on live connections irrespective of how many devices are registered. I HOPE AMAZON READS THIS REVIEW AND CORRECTS THEIR POLICY IMPLEMENTATION

Likes: 1. Supports Dolby Atmos decoding on Netflix, JioHotstar, Apple TV and Zee5 in pass through mode(connected to my LG Soundbar). 2. UI is very snappy and RAM management is great. Apps remain in memory. 3. Picture quality and contrast ratio is much better than LG WebOS 4. Navigation is decent, nothing to complain about. 5. Runs on the latest FireTV OS v8. 6. Alexa works very well and is able to process everything quickly. 7. Wifi 6 performance is pretty great with a Wifi 6 compatible router. Dislikes: 1. Setup is complicated and time consuming 2. Remote’s build quality could have been better. 3. Should come with a USB C port instead of micro USB. 4. A lot of Ads on the home screen which feels a little cluttered. Overall a VFM product. Does the job and is a huge upgrade from LG WebOS. Both Picture and Sound Quality improved after I switched to Firestick. Please note that this is not a 2025 model, it’s manufactured in 2024 and is a Firestick 4K 2nd Gen model. It has got 2GB of ram and 8GB of storage which is sufficient. Make sure to play around with the picture and audio settings to get a fine tuned output.

Best in the Segment!!! So I have been using the Amazon Fire tv stick 4k for more than 15 days now and here is my experience of it I bought this for ₹4500. There are many streaming devices that are available in the market but not many offer 4k functionality. I use this fire tv on my LG 4K 55’ television all because the User interface of LG (web os) was flimsy and not easy to use and really complicated for children and elders of the family to operate so I decided to buy a streaming stick this is majorly a jio and airtel dominated market as they offer smart boxes with their subscription model but trust me this fire tv actually lives up to it’s name of “Fire” because it’s not just easy to use but very user friendly and simple to operate by anyone it also comes with Dolby vision and Dolby audio which enhances the audio and video quality of your existing tv this also comes with 16gb storage so no worries about installing streaming services and news apps. Lastly alexa is a joy to use because of the integration into the UI. Summary of review - this is the best 4k tv stick you can buy.
