Set It Right, and It’s a Beast — A Huge Win for Daily Cleaning
First off: this vacuum is fantastic—but you really have to dig into the settings to unlock what it can do. I was specifically looking for a robot vacuum that doesn’t rely on mopping. I just wanted something that could consistently keep dust and debris under control throughout my apartment at different times of day—especially since I’ve had limited mobility following an injury a couple of years ago. The app is excellent—clean, intuitive—but there’s a learning curve. Once I found how to disable mopping and crank up the suction, everything changed. Yes, higher suction drains the battery faster, but the cleaning performance jumps significantly. On standard power it’s fine; on turbo, it really delivers. One feature I love is the dual 3-arm spinning brushes on either side. They do a great job pulling in dust, dirt, and anything tracked in—especially around entryways. Combined with the stronger suction, it leaves floors noticeably cleaner. Noise-wise, it’s comparable to other robot vacuums I’ve owned. The self-emptying base gets loud for about 30 seconds, but honestly, that’s a small price to pay for not having to deal with the mess yourself. It’s not excessive, and for me, it’s completely worth it. The navigation is solid. The LiDAR system does most of the mapping and guidance, while the recessed sensors help it avoid obstacles without getting scuffed or damaged—something I’ve seen happen with other brands like Roomba. It moves confidently and handles thresholds and door edges without any issues. The first full-apartment clean (during mapping) was honestly shocking—in a good way. When it returned to the base and emptied itself, it filled the container instantly. That alone showed me how much it was picking up that I couldn’t keep up with physically. I typically empty the base every 2–3 days now, and it’s been consistent and reliable. The build feels sturdy, and it handles my hardwood floors and area rugs with ease—without the strain that comes from using a traditional vacuum (which has been tough on my back post-surgery). As for mopping: it’s there if you want it. It comes with pads and a small water reservoir—probably good for light surface cleaning—but I personally don’t use that feature. My focus was vacuuming, and that’s where it shines. Bottom line: this vacuum has made a real difference in my day-to-day life. It’s powerful, customizable, and incredibly helpful if you want a hands-off way to keep your floors clean. I’m genuinely impressed—well done, Eureka.

App needs work, robotic logic needs work. Doesn't last.
Update (7.7.24 - 8 months): Reducing my Rating to 1. I'm sorry I purchased this and feel as though it was a waste of money. At best I can use this as a regular vacuum without the mop function from here out but now need to find a new solution to mopping my main floor's hardwoods and kitchen tiles. What a waste. I had noticed that the internal collection compartment was getting gunked up. It seems that because it is vacuuming and mopping at the same time, it is basically mixing dust and water to make a mess inside the vacuum. When you normally mop, you sweep the area first or vacuum it, then mop. This device mops while vacuuming which makes wet dirt. This then is not ejected into the waste cannister correctly and can quickly build up. Essentially, you need to manually clean the vacuum every time you use it with the mopping feature defeating the purpose of the automatic waste cannister. Today I noticed the unit is leaking. I don't know from where but I found a wet spot beneath the charging station and it appears the hardwood floors beneath have been slightly damaged due to getting wet over time. I wanted to like this product and did my best to give it every chance. Unfortunately it fails to deliver on what it was designed to do and in the future I will not be looking to Eureka for my vacuum or mop needs. (original post) Purchased this for the 1st floor of my house 4 months ago. Tile kitchen, hard wood hall, hard wood dining room with an area rug. I also have a step down into a sunken living room and on the opposite side of the house, a step down into a sunken den. I don't have pets. I knew the living room and den would need the vac picked up and set back down which was fine. My main goal was to get something that would mop the kitchen and hardwoods regularly. Here's my experience thus far. What I like: - The cleanout cannister doesn't need to be emptied after each cleaning, is easy to use and dump out, and doesn't require special bags like some of the other brands. - The mop feature has been doing a decent job keeping the floors clean. - For a mop and vac unit, the price was good compared to some of the other brands. What I don't like: - The App is not the best. Some screens just need you to select a different option but other screens require you to also select a tiny check at the top corner. Not very intuitive. The room maps allow you to set up named regions and even virtual walls but there's no options to set mop or vac intensity by room. For example, I'd want my kitchen mopped with the highest mop settings but the halls with the lowest. Also, I've set it to not mop at all and just vacuum and found it mopping anyways. - The logic gets confused and I have one spot where it will continually return to, back up, move a few feet away, then return to the same location again. It will do this over and over until it runs out of charge. I've tried remapping the area, relocating the base station, doesn't matter. I just now set up a virtual wall in the App to try and stop this from happening. - Mopping reservoir has no gauge and the vac and app do not indicate when the unit is empty. As I haven't tried any other brands of vac/mop combo's, I don't know if any of these issues are better or worse industry wise.

BUY THIS NOW!!!
I had a Roomba years ago, when the technology first came out, it was the worst. I had been wanting to get a new model, especially with the new self emptying option as well as mop. Prime Days came and it seemed the perfect opportunity. All of that being said I LOVE THIS MACHINE!!! Within minutes of unboxing I had uploaded the app, connected the device to my WiFi and the vacuum was up and running AND I scheduled it to run every morning at 8am. I also synced the device with my Alexa. So I can say things like, “Alexa, start vacuum.” and my vacuum gets to work. But it gets better! The device mapped out my home and I was able to easily name each room on the app. So now, let’s say I spill something in the kitchen, I can say “Alexa, vacuum the kitchen” or select the kitchen on the map in the app and then select “clean” and here comes my vacuum (that we’ve named Finch), to the kitchen, vacuums just the kitchen, redocks itself and empties the onboard dust bin into the larger bin that is SO much easier(and less messy) to empty than the onboard dustbin. Ok, now let’s talk about the mop option. The reservoir is onboard and pretty small and can only be filled with water, no cleaning fluids. I have found that the mop feature works best for me when I select it manually. Then I spray a cleaner on the area to be mopped, as the device moves to the area to be mopped it dispenses water (you can set the level) and drops the mop pad. I have interlocking laminate flooring and this mop works so much better than I ever thought it would. I should also mention than I have a 10 year old son who plays baseball (think baseball red clay dirt) and two small dogs (one long hair, one short and they both shed substantially) and both the vacuum and mop features on this device have impressed me, as well as the ease of use. As far as the volume, it’s not super loud but it’s not super quiet either. That being said it does not disturb my dogs at all, I will attach a video to prove that. Oh! I almost forgot! The navigation feature on this device is 1MILLION times more improved than the earlier model I owned. It doesn’t get stuck and I checked the height of the device before I purchased it and it fits under my kitchen and bathroom cabinets, my dresser and end tables. Oh also! This dust and dog hair thirsty little sucker actually does this beautiful dance around my dining room table and chairs! I thought for sure it was just going to avoid that area all together or get stuck but no, it navigated itself around the legs of the chairs and table from the very first launch and seems to have even gotten better at it with each cleaning! I can recommend this product without hesitation 100% P.s. I have atttached the video of the device navigation itself in a very tight area and around my dog beds as my dogs slept. Unfortunately only one video can be uploaded per review so I can’t post the video I have of the device mopping and self emptying the onboard dust bin into the larger cyclonic bin on the dock. Sorry :( P.S.S. I mentioned that I purchased this on Prime Day, I paid $200, but I would buy it again for full price without hesitation, it’s THAT good.

Great vacuum but may have problems with battery replacement
This is a terrific vacuum. We have owned it for a year and a half and it would clean the whole house, avoiding potential hang-ups, doing carpets and throw rugs, and returning to dump. Recently, it no longer does the whole house because the battery has weakened. It just stops and has to be put back on the charger. The OEM battery is no longer manufactured, and third-party replacements are problematic as they may not recharge on the station. I've noticed that a new version of the battery advertised as compatible with the E10s no longer lists it.

BUYER BEWARE - Poor Warranty Support by Eureka - Excellent Customer Support from Amazon
DO NOT PURCHASE!! Out of the box this vacuum was great and I was very satisfied with it! It worked reliably until it didn’t. It’s dragging the right wheel, spins in circles and can’t complete a cleaning cycle. I cleaned and replaced all the wear parts and no change. One of the wheel motors appears to be defective. This item was purchased 15 months ago and is still under warranty. Eureka accepted my warranty claim and offered me $81 initially as a pro-rated warranty payment. This vacuum was about $300. They don’t have replacements and they don’t service them. This is unacceptable! When I called them back, they advised that they made an error in their calculation and offered me $116.16. Still unacceptable for a durable good expected to last years not months. It is deeply disappointing that this $300 vacuum is being treated like it’s a disposable item. Eureka won’t even stand behind their product that had a motor defect. I can’t buy a replacement for that price. I feel truly ripped off! I bought an additional eureka robot (model e-20) before the e-10 stopped working. My warranty experience with Eureka was so disappointing that I want to return this new unopened e-20 for a brand that will stand behind their products. Do better Eureka! This is not how you treat loyal customers! You have turned off a long term buyer of your products and I will spend my money elsewhere if they can’t make this right. (If they make this right, I will update this review.) UPDATE: This review was changed to 5 stars because Amazon stepped up and made the situation right by providing a full refund. Thank you amazon for having your customer's back!! Eureka remains unchanged with their stance to NOT adequately support their products. Buyer Beware!

They don't last. I've had 3 die of the same exact issue. Eureka customer support ignores you.
I got two of these, one for each floor of my house. One in Jan 2024 and one in April 2024. It is now July 2025 and NEITHER OF THEM ARE WORKING ANYMORE. I have called and emailed Eureka multiple times. The second one, the one I got in April, started having problems in Feb/March 2025. It was still within the manufacturer's warranty time frame. I called them, they actually answered. After some correspondence and videos and pictures and troubleshooting on their end, they sent me a referb unit. I threw the old one away. Then the one I got in Jan 2024 started having problems. It was out of the return window and past the warranty date. I paid $600 for this piece of junk at the time because it was the only one that was bagless, and because I had the cash. Eureka refuses to do anything about it, and have ignored my emails regarding replacing it. The referb is now encountering the same issue the other two did, less than 6 months after I received it. I reached out to Eureka again, got one email response asking questions and then have been ignored for the last month. I had initially purchased the second one because they were both doing great at that time, and it was on sale for only $400! What a steal! (I thought) Here I am 18 months later, out $1000 with two pieces of absolute garbage. They no longer work. They will run for anywhere between 5 to 10 minutes, and then complain about the brush needing cleaned. The brush is clean, nothing is blocking it, nothing is stuck, nothing is wrong with the brush. 5 more minutes of work, fault: the brush needs cleaned! Would not recommend, they do not last. I wouldn't even take this trash for free. Customer service is garbage, these units are garbage. My Disappointment Is Immeasurable And My Year Is Ruined. I will never buy another eureka vacuum again, and I will be informing every person I know about these pieces of waste that are going to end up in landfills after only a year of use.

Great Robot Mop Vacuum at a Great Price Point (updated from original review)
Update 2 (disregard update 1 - this vacuum is not worth the money): Very disappointed in its performance. It often doesn't run according to schedule (set for 3am every day). It sometimes doesn't complete the mapped area and it does a very poor job of picking up. I find debris that appears to have been swept into corners and up against walls and have to vacuum by hand after it. So that great suction power I soke about previously didn't last. My inexpensive Yeedi does a better job of grabbing anything in its path. In fact, I am setting up the Yeedi to run daily and changing this one to mop once or twice a week. Update 1: I discovered a couple of incorrect settings through further exploration that I feel should have been reviewed and explained to me when speaking to the Eureka support rep. Unfortunately her response was for me to return it. In the end, I am keeping the original vacuum I received and shipping the unboxed replacement back. Here's why: My original review stated the vacuum would not empty. I then learned I was only able to empty the vacuum with a Dust Removal command. I since discovered there is a DO NOT DISTURB setting that will prevent the vacuum from auto emptying when Do Not Disturb is on in the app setting and the vacuum is operating during a period that I have set on my phone as Do Not Disturb. I believe this is due to the Dust Removal being rather loud. After turning that option off in the Eureka app, the auto empty function seems to be working as intended. So the original vacuum seems to be working perfectly and I am truly enjoying it. The suction is better than my last vacuum. The mapping is excellent. The vacuum covers just about every inch of accessible floor. I just tried the mopping today for the first time and it did a great job. I set it to auto detect carpets and the mop lifted as promised when on carpet so my carpets did not get wet. It's a keeper at this stage. I hope it lasts a good long time. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I unboxed it, set it up and connected to my wifi. That part was a breeze (better than some eufy, yeedi, and roomba models I've had). I set up the schedule to run at 3am 7 days a week. That was easy too. i was excited to see the map on my phone that morning (pic included). It had done a great job mapping the whole area of the my living space (minus the closed off rooms). It was quiet enough that it didn't wake me though my son said he heard it. The bin was full so it did a very good job in picking up. I didn't add water to mop the first time. My goal was really to test the functionality of the vacuum at standard level and then the mop. The reason I've given it only 2 stars is because it won't empty. At all. I followed all the trouble shooting steps and NOTHING. I got in touch with Eureka support, they had me reset it again and it still won't empty. They told me to return it. Since I like the rest of the vacuum, I opted to exchange it. I will provide an update once I receive the new one. If it still doesn't work, I will be returning it for a refund.

A Beast with a few (serious) Issues
This is the third robot vacuum I have owned so far; the last being an unimpressive Roomba that I got tired of replacing the delicate silicone belly parts and expensive bags. Let me start off by saying I enjoy the idea of the LiDAR Mapping feature; it quickly scans and determines the different styles of rooms and sizes and the mapping function makes sure it covers everything. Once that’s connected to the app you can name specific rooms and then clean those as designated: if you only want to clean the kitchen, it’ll only clean the kitchen. The mop function is simple as it only takes water and really is only suitable for kitchens or maybe tile hallways. I do not recommend using it for anything that even resembles wood. The brush bar is a beast. It picks up cat hair, human hair, and litter with ease. The area rugs look exponentially better than the Roomba could ever clean. It also recognizes multiple floors so I could take it upstairs and it can clean the plush carpets of the bedrooms as needed- something that Roomba could never have handled. It’s capabilities of cleaning deep carpets is akin to a Roborock robot vacuum or even that of a handheld upright Dyson, which says a lot considering I am a multiple pet owner and my long hair has been known to destroy weaker vacuums. The dustbins suction is impressive. It's able to successfully collect anything inside the vacuum cleaner as long as the vacuum’s bin isn’t overloaded (see complaints further down) and emptying it into the trash can is clean and simple. That being said, I do have a few complaints. This thing is expensive, even on sale. It was more expensive than even my first Roborock. If the dustbin receptacle inside the vacuum cleaner is full, it does not have the programming capable to go to the base to have it emptied and resume working. It will keep running even though it’ll eventually clog itself to death. This is a considerable issue because it means you can only safely clean one room at a time then program it empty the dustbin each and every round. I feel like this is not something that shouldn’t even be a problem anymore, considering even the most basic robot vacuum that have charging stations that double as dustbins already plan this out on their own. Another frustrating issue is this is the first vacuum cleaner I’ve owned in 10 years that will still run over cords and aggressively mow over anything in it’s path. Again: there is better technology and sensors utilized in cheaper robot vacuums that avoid this very basic problem. Finally, even though the app is completely reasonable, there is no child safety locking mechanism on the device or app. This is DANGEROUS if you have smart cats or bored small children. Nothing is more fun than waking up at two in the morning hearing the vacuum complain that it got stuck somewhere or being in the middle of work and getting a ping on the app saying that your vacuum is jammed under the couch and there’s nothing you can do to help it for the next six hours. Combine the lack of safety locking features with the fact that it's sturdy enough to indiscriminately mow over anything that LiDAR doesn’t pick up and I fear it’s the perfect Poop Storm brewing: it’ll smear whatever it hits all over the very precise mapping feature. This was the kind of nightmare story you would laugh about in 2016, there’s no reason this should be happening nowadays.
