It’s a flop……flops off.
Not sure if it’s doing anything after a few months of usage. But my biggest gripe is how the foam doesn’t stick long enough before it falls off…..not giving me a chance to wipe it into my skin. I’m sticking with liquid next time.

It works
I have been using Minoxidil for approximately a year now and while I haven't had quite the results I have hoped for it does appear to show some signs of regrowth. It definitely has stopped the loss so, to me, that alone makes it worth the money. I also like the foam over the liquid version. The liquid version would always run down my forehead or my neck. With the foam you can also get it right where you want it. Also, the liquid would make my hair look greasy all day long whereas once the foam dries it isn't greasy at all.

Easy, but time-consuming to apply, drying, non-greasy
This is a review of: Minoxidil Foam, 5% Topical Minoxidil for Men and Women, Infused with Biotin, Hair Growth Treatment, Supports Thicker and Fuller Hair & Beard, Upgraded version (Minoxidil Foam 4.22Oz, 2-Month Supply) This product comes in two, spray cans. The cans dispense a foam that you rub into the balding patch. On one hand, the cans are slim and take up little space. They also tip over easily, so it’s super easy to accidentally launch the cans off the edge of the sink. The foam comes out at an exceeding rate, so, if you aren’t careful, it will spray all over the bathroom. That said, a surprising aspect of this product is that it doesn’t make the hair greasy- at least, after one application. I can put it on in the morning, and the hair looks completely normal, with no indication I put it on. (I do take care to put the product on lightly, and to part the hair, so that only the very base of the hair is touched by the product). However, you do have to wash your hair once a day, because, after 2-3 applications, the hair does start to look greasy and weighed down. The spray is a bit messy to apply. It is alcohol based, so it can dry out the skin. It can also easily run down the forehead, which scares me slightly, because I don’t want a hairy forehead. This foam does take a few minutes to apply, because you have to part the hair and apply the foam in strips, so that it primarily goes on the scalp, and little gets on the hair itself. This is time consuming. If you just spray it into your hand and rub it all over the scalp, you lose a lot of the foam onto the hair shafts, which makes the hair greasy faster, and also wastes the product. Getting a lot of the product onto the hair does make it sticky- you have to try and not get much on the hair. Overall, though, the product is a good value, currently priced at 19.98, in February of 2025, (on Amazon) for a 2-month supply. A quick note- this is only a two-month supply if you have a small balding patch. It doesn’t last as long if you have to apply it to the entire top of the head.

Preferably for women with short hair or men
Personally, I don't think this foam was the best choice for my hair type. It says on it to put it directly on your scalp with your fingers and not hair, however when I tried it got all over my hair, I am not sure how much actually soaked into the scalp even after using a scalp massager. That is more of a personal issue since I have longer hair but have noticed areas or hair loss and reduction. I have used various sprays but didn't see much affect after longer term in use. I have a minoxidil spray that goes directly to my scalp, however what interested me with this product was that it also included biotin. I think this is preferable for other hair types other than mine. One thing I found a bit questioning was that it said to stop use if you receive chest paint, rapid heartbeat, faintness, dizziness, sudden weight gain, and swollen hands or feet. I have never seen something like that on a hair growth product, so that's one thing to keep in mind. I didn't use it longer since the foam wasn't able to go directly into my scalp unlike the sprays. It can be great for men though with very short hair that have access directly to their scalps. Effective-wise I can't comment, but it does say to stop use if you don't see hair regrowth in fourth months. It also states that this product may not work for all people. It was easy to clean off my hands and didn't leave any sticky feeling and is odorless as well. Did not leave hair feeling irritated nor did it leave any white foam residue.

Great for Eyebrows!
My eyebrows have thinned due to aging and previous over-plucking. After using it for a month, I noticed some hair regrowth. The mousse-like texture is excellent for shaping eyebrows. However, I am unsure if it is suitable for scalp hair because of potential textural issues. This product was effective in improving the appearance of my eyebrows.

Foam is nice; Research Possible Side Effects
I appreciate that they included Biotin in the product. Many of us are taking Biotin anyway, so adding the vitamin into the product may save time and money if you choose to eliminate the oral version. FOAM: the foam is nice, but if your hair loss is still minimal, it will be hard to miss your hair and put it only on your scalp. You'll also want to make sure you have time to cool your hands--the foam melts fast. If your hands are too warm, it will dissipate before you have time to transfer it to your scalp and/or to rub it it. As for the main ingredient, Minoxidil, it has a decades-long reputation for helping people to regrown hair. My dermatologist recommended that I try it. My stylist/hair specialist does scalp treatments (cleansing the follicles) and red-light therapy--both of which cost significantly more than this two-month supply of Minoxidil! Even my "fancy" liquid biotin costs more. What I didn't know is the potential side effect of growing hair in places you don't want/need to! Based on research, it seems that 5% is the max recommended. I also ordered the 2.5% version. I am going to stick with that. If I don't have any adverse reactions (none yet), I'll move up to 5% and see how things go. At the moment, I am not willing to risk adding extra hair anywhere other than at the crown of my head.

Seems like decent quality, but foam is hard to apply just to the scalp and not get the hair too.
I've been trying Tacruitf Minoxidil foam, hoping to see some improvement in my thinning hair. The foam is easy enough to apply and doesn't have a strong smell, which is a definite plus. The problem is that the instructions tell me to just apply the foam to the scalp and not the hair. That seems to be a challenge with foam. As well, the dispenser is inconsistent, so it's hard to judge how hard to press to get the amount of product I want to come out. While it's still early, I haven't noticed a dramatic difference in thickness, but I may be shedding slightly less. That might be due to the foam being somewhat greasy as opposed to the effect of the Minoxidil or Biotin chemicals. I like that I received a full two-month supply to see if the biotin infusion makes a noticeable difference in the long run. So far, it's a decent and seemingly more budget-friendly alternative to some of the name brands, but the real test will be the visible results over the next few weeks.

Great Minoxidil Foam
I’ve been using minoxidil for a while, and this has been a great option compared to other brands. The bottle works great when following the instructions. It doesn’t dispense a ton at a time which is great for me since I want to distribute it over all my scalp. Some generic minoxidil products I have tried in the past have an odor but this doesn't. Overall, great product and I like the quality.
