This is our second purchase of the exact same item. High quality metal construction. Sharp edges - be careful when installing. We had a few break ins in our neighborhood where burglars hopped the fence and broke through the rear doors. We have more secure with these anti-climb spikes installed now.

These are very sturdy metal spikes! They are heavy duty and heavy. These are not easily bent. They will deter humans and animals from climbing your fence. The spikes are very sharp.

Item is overall good and serves the purpose. The annoying thing is that only half the self-tapping screws were included. This now means that I have to make a trip to a distant hardware store to purchase 10 screws. I was hoping for a rapid DIY project that has now turned into a hassle due to missing screws. There does not seem to be a way to contact the vendor about this and I don't want to to deal with a return based on these screws.Addendum: I bought the screws but it was difficult. The screws are self-tapping and have a little rubber washer attached to them. I had to find #10 screws (1") and then buy the rubber washers separately. Without those rubber washers it doesn't grip as satisfactorily. I actually had to go to two different harware stores to find both those items. An extremely annoying experience for something that should have been done properly in the first place. An otherwise good product whose reputation is damaged by a silly omission.

I had trouble installing them but I used cement to hold them down and it seems to be fine.

So I had to build a 10 foot security pole to watch over our neighborhood mail box due to break-ins recently. I added the Spikes to it to deter vandals and thieves from trying to climb up and steal the lights or cam. They are really sharp and strong. Easy to install.
