There may be a difference between this and the original stuff, but I have not been able to find any. It prints nicely and offers great value. I guess if I were going for heirloom quality output I might be reluctant, but for the way we use our printer this stuff is great. I think it may be easier to make good aftermarket ink than it is to make the integrated cartridges with their small precision parts and electronics. Also, the printer cannot easily "detect" non-original ink and thus can't lock you out or try to scare you. A winner for me.
