Barbie Appracadabra Magic Set

I got this for my niece for Christmas. I've owned and purchased a lot of magic sets in my time, but this one is really quite cool. Most magic sets are fun for kids, but pretty lame if you're trying to entertain adults. My niece, however, had all the adults genuinely wondering, "how'd she do that?"! Good buy.

This Barbie magic set did not come with the rabbit or the coin trick. It sucks because my 3year old niece really wanted a bunny out of a hat game because she's been obsessed with magic. Not the best quality packaging either.

Bought as a gift for my niece - Missing pieces, I returned. My daughter has one they these are fun toys with all the items included...

The first set we were mailed was missing a couple of pieces. They mailed a replacement and the wand didn't work. My daughter couldn't wait any longer so we just dealt with it. The cards are hard for this age range, but my 6 year old loved the coin disappearing trick!

My daughter downloaded the app to her ipad mini and then we found out this set existed so she saved up her allowance to purchase it. It's a nice addition to the app.We had one issue - you're supposed to be able to wave the wand and push a button and it interacts with the ipad. We couldn't get this feature to work so I contacted the company. They were very responsive and gave me a very simple fix. All we needed to do was go into the ipad settings and turn on the microphone.It was a simple fix and one I suggest they add to the instructional paper that comes with the kit.

5 year old begged for this! I was hesitant thinking it would be cheaply made and not very fun. Turns out she LOVES it and it actually is pretty cool. Has kept her and 4 year old brother entertained as well as all those who they shiw their magic tricks to.

So upset. Bought this as a gift for my daughter's birthday and as I go to wrap it, I realize the bunny and coin trick are missing!! So this toy is worthless when it is sold with missing pieces!

It was missing the rabbit - but only way to get the rabbit would be to return it and get a new one but my granddaughter decided to just keep the rest of the pieces and play with those.
