Great Health Tracker!! 2 Months Later: Reliable, Comfortable, and Incredibly Insightful!!
I absolutely love this ring! It checks every box for me at a much better price point than competitors. The slimmer band is a huge plus it’s more comfortable than others I’ve tried and easy to wear 24/7 without even noticing it’s there. The charging case/carrying case is honestly a major win. I much prefer it over a traditional charging stand. With cats in the house, a stand would’ve lasted about five minutes before becoming a toy. Being able to safely tuck it away and only charge it for about 30 minutes every 11–12 days is super convenient. I’ve definitely put it to the test worn it straight for nearly 2.5 weeks through gym sessions, cooking, cleaning, sleeping, showering, and even wood projects. It’s held up great. I really love the features and the health data it tracks it’s been insightful and motivating. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this purchase! Also a HUGE plus is the charging case stores additional hours to charge the ring so if I’m out of the house and it ever need a charge it’s as easy as popping it in the case and then in my purse and grabbing it 30 minutes later!!! 2-Month Update: I still absolutely love this ring if anything, I appreciate it even more now than when I first got it. I’m about 3 days away from fully unlocking all of its features, and it’s been really impressive to see how it gradually learns my body’s patterns and builds a personalized baseline over time. One of the biggest benefits has been the health and sleep insights. The sleep tracking alone has been eye-opening being able to see trends in my sleep quality, restfulness, and recovery has helped me make small changes that actually make a difference in how I feel day to day. It’s not just data for the sake of data it’s actionable and easy to understand. I’ve also noticed how helpful it is for overall awareness. Things like activity levels, recovery, and even how my body responds to stress, workouts, or late nights are reflected in the data. It’s made me a lot more mindful of my habits without feeling overwhelming or obsessive. Comfort-wise, it’s still a win. I wear it 24/7 sleeping, working out, showering, doing everyday tasks and I barely notice it’s there. It’s held up really well with no issues, even with consistent daily use. Battery life and charging continue to be super convenient. I still love the charging case it makes it easy to top up the battery wherever I am, and I don’t have to think about charging very often at all. Overall, having this kind of insight into my health at my fingertips has helped me feel more in tune with my body and more intentional with my routines. It’s been a genuinely useful tool, not just a gadget and I’m still extremely happy with this purchase.

Great ring, yes it's a little pricey, but it works like it is supposed to!
I first tried a cheap smart ring ($60), and while the hardware was somewhat impressive, the app was junk: not specific to the particular ring. This RingConn ring, and app, however, are the real deal! The ring is well made, its inside surface is made so that it tends to stay in place on your finger without rotating around over time. The charge lasts a very long time, and so far after about a month, the ring still works and charges perfectly. The titanium exterior apparently really does resist scratches, because mine still looks new and I wear it 24/7, except for charging. I swim daily, and wear the ring without issues, it really is waterproof. Too bad it does not have a dedicated tracker for swimming (you have to edit that into the app data after the swim session), but I also use it for walking in our neighborhood, and that dedicated function tracks accurately, in tandem with Google Maps, to show the route you walked. Sleep data is fairly accurate, though it finds REM during some of the time I was awake, which is not correct. It also has twice counted time in my recliner watching TV (before going to bed) as if I had gone to bed, but that data can be easily edited the next morning if necessary. Sleep apnea tracking is a nice touch, it says I probably have mild apnea, which is correct (it would be worse if I did not tape my mouth at night!). Vital signs seem to be accurate, it detects periods of exertion when you are working your body hard. The heart rate is correct even when the ring is wet, which was not the case with my previous cheapie. The "stress" measurement must be based on the HRV value, not sure if that is really helpful for me. I purchased a size 13 after trying sizes in the sizing kit--don't skip that step, because this ring has an unusual inner surface and you need to make sure to get a size that works on your fingers. Turns out that 13 is a handy size for me, because I can wear the ring on a choice of 3 different fingers, meaning I can switch hands when I need to. According to the AI in the app, the ring finger doesn't make any difference. Just keep in mind that none of these smart rings, including the Oura, are medical devices--that is, they are not directly measuring most of the information that they display. Instead, these readings are calculated using complex algorithms based on data obtained by the sensors in the ring, so they are really estimates and should be viewed over time, to see trends. Some readings are more accurate than others, like heart rate is more directly measured than REM, for instance. There's certainly room for improvement, but all in all, this is a good product!

Expensive toy
I purchased the ring sizer first and I ordered a size larger based on reviews. The ring is still a little tight even sizing up. I lost the ring within 24hrs of getting it and was able to find it in the yard with the GPS, find my ring feature. The sleep tracking is ok, it’s not super accurate. And the step count is always 1000 steps off from my Apple Watch (usually more steps than my watch). It does not integrate with Apple at all. I like there is no monthly fee. There are a lot of neat features to the ring, but not sure how accurate they are. I have had this ring several months and I have scratched the finish on the inside of my finger but the otter side is fine and purchased the black matte color. I am concerned about long term durability as I have had reports of battery issues and short battery longevity. As for now, the battery last about a week and I like the portability of the charger case. If I had the opportunity to purchase this ring or the Oura ring, I would probably choose Oura due to reports of it being more accurate and better sleep technology and ability to integrate with Apple health. Other than that, they have the same features.

A Lifesaver!
This is a great smart to track a variety of vitals. I specifically needed a smart ring that would measure my blood oxygen and track sleep apnea events and hypoxia. Not many rings can do that but this one can. Well worth the money, I have it on all the time, and I work as a mailman, so I'm on there in all elements wearing this, in the shower, at work, asleep, still works perfectly. I couldn't be happier and I daresay this product helped save my life. I ended up getting a cpap because it confirmed I had severe sleep apnea. Tracks your steps, heart rate, blood oxygen, kcals burned, sleep quality, stress levels (although the stress level accuracy I don't think is very accurate). I switched from the fitbit to this, comfortable lightweight and has a long battery. BE SURE to FIRST GET THE RingConn sizer. Itll be a box with a bunch of different size plastic rings. Its important because the girth of your finger changes throughout the day and its important to find one that fits well and is comfortable for all day use.

great to start but not a great long term option
the ring took some getting used to at first it. With all the metrics it tracked about your day to day movement made it a compelling option to wear outside of just working out. The sleep tracking was also a great advantage to this ring as well. the battery on it was also great to start, but after almost a year of use the battery no longer last as long as advertised. it has degraded to the point of not even last two full days. With the cost of the ring you think degradation like this would not occur, sadly it did.

Useful data that is reliable up to a point
My sense is that with RingCon versus the alternative that requires paying a monthly fee for service, is that RingCon is more than good enough to avoid paying a monthly fee. That said with all of the ring based solutions they are best used for everything except exercise. For that you really want something that fits as a band on your wrist to obtain accurate exercise data. But if you are looking for sleep data then RingCon certainly works very good for this purpose. Monitoring through the day also is good though if you are constantly having to remove the ring because of something you are doing with your hands, perhaps this might not be the best solution. One fear based upon reading on the Internet is battery longevity. The Internet suggests that the ring's battery will loose the ability to hold a charge in a year's time. Likely this could be because of the very small battery embedded in the ring is worked hard and over a year time gives up. The battery is not replaceable given it is encased in epoxy that seals the ring such that you can wash with the ring on. Apparently there is a trade in option and I believe the cost is $100. Which suggests that the long term cost of using the ring is not a usage fee, but $10/month given the battery wears out. Likely the competition isn't saying this such that their cost of operation is their monthly fee plus whatever it costs to replace their ring in a year or so... Would I buy this again? I want to say no. I found that after a month I learned all I needed from the data and the data wasn't changing. In the end it cost me the price of the ring to learn to solve why I wasn't getting a good night's sleep. Though it could be said that the ring's cost was cheap if that is the case.

Way better than the more mainstream competitors.
I absolutely love this ring! I got this after my Galaxy ring stopped working after 6 months. And this thing is phenomenal! Health metrics are spot on. Step counter, vitals (heart, oxygen temp), and sleep tracker: all extremely accurate. The color is nice and it feels very durable. It doesn't feel like cheap plastic or like it's going to break. It definitely fits wonderfully and it is not bulky. It's supper comfortable and feels like it's not even there. Switching to the ringconn gen 2, best decision I ever made.

Long battery life but ring scratches easily
I acquired this ring after extensive research since it didn't require a subscription for use. I also appreciate its design and color. To ensure I got the right size, I bought the ring-sizing kit, and thankfully, I had no problems with it. Although the kit could have been complimentary or credited towards the ring purchase, it was reasonably priced, so it wasn't a major concern. What I enjoyed was how easily it connected via Bluetooth, and it fit me just right. I really like the app and the wealth of information it provided. I particularly appreciated that it tracked my sleep apnea, which I didn't find in other smart rings. The readings are straightforward and easy to interpret. The battery life was impressive, lasting over a week before needing a charge. On the downside, even though the ring appears quite sturdy, the black finish wore off quite easily. I wore it on my index finger and, despite not engaging in manual labor, I noticed scratches forming on the inside. Given the price of this ring, I expected a higher-quality paint job. Other black smart rings I've tried did not have this problem. Because of this, I deducted two stars, as this quality is not acceptable for a premium smart ring.

Excellent Product and Value for money
First check the best fit of ring size using the size kit. Writing this review after 45 days, Looks elegant, works excellent, Battery Remains 10 days, Perfectly syncs with the phone. Don't feeling wearing it. App is too professional and provides loads of information on the Vitals, Sleep, Activity and Stress. Ai based plan needs a lot of improvement (still in beta), finding cumulative monthly achievements in the app is bit hard. Sometimes the info provided by app seems to be overwhelming. Sleep Apnea Tracking is good and looks suggestive. Only after couple of months it can be confirmed. Otherwise a best product that comes without any subscription and doing it's job so well. Kudoos to Ringconn Team.
