Every XIAO I've purchased from Seeed Studio has been perfect. This company makes excellent products and this has been no exception so far. yes, the XIAO may not have all the GPIO exposed but that is not the point. They are meant to be very small and excel at their purpose. They have just enough pins exposed and the quality is better than just about any other brand out there.

This is currently my favorite project board. I love the different communication options and the size. I love that I can recharge my battery with it too.

Cute little board. Expect to write C and not C++ in Arduino to get full functionality. Arduino IDE works but it's sketchy

Great chip super compact would have been amazing if they would take WLED. I’ve tried the work around to no avail but still so much capabilities in such a little Chip you can fit this little guy Just anywhere just as easy to use as any ESP 32 and for pennies on the dollar you can’t complain

The value and performance of these is excellent. This is my favorite ESP32.

I bought this with the intention of only writing in rust not C. I was pleasantly surprised that `esp-generate` gets you a working crate out of the box. Still a little work needs to be done on bluetooth and wifi and I needed the nightly toolchain for some things like an http server. But, riscv is supported in upstream rust so there isn't any requirement for tools not in your package manager.

My application was a device to announce ship bell time. There is an MP3 audio board and OLED display. Products does the job but doesn't work out of the box. It wouldn't program after a few times. Any help from a search was useless. Remedy was to use a USB isolator. The program worked when connected to a PC but hung up when connecting just to a power dongle. Remedy was to us a watchdog function. Only watchdog that worked or was easy to use was the Adafruit Sleepydog function. The reset and boot switches are too tiny for fingers. I used a chopstick to push the buttons. Holding boot and applying power was easier if I unplugged and plugged the USB cable at the PC.

The product works perfectly and integrates quickly and stable with Home Assistant for my project, the only regret is that I didn't purchase more pieces.
