LHOTSE Rechargeable LED Hat Clip Light

I’ve been really impressed with this cap light so far. The brightness is surprisingly powerful for such a small device, making it perfect for early morning hikes, camping, fishing, working in low light, or even quick hands-free tasks around the house. It clips securely onto my hat and stays in place without feeling heavy or uncomfortable.The rechargeable battery is a huge plus since I don’t have to constantly buy batteries, and it holds a solid charge for multiple uses. I also appreciate how compact and lightweight it is — easy to toss in a backpack or pocket without taking up space. The waterproof design adds extra confidence for outdoor use when weather conditions aren’t ideal.Overall, this is a simple but extremely useful piece of gear that punches above its size. If you want a bright, convenient hands-free light for outdoor activities or work, this is definitely worth picking up!

Rechargeable caplamps have one very good attribute: no extra batteries to buy. That being said, you must have the opportunity to recharge it, or you're without a caplamp. I use rechargeable ones at home to get about after lights out. It's easier on the spouse and less energizing to the dogs if I don't flip on an overhead or a table lamp whenever I need the facilities or a drink, but I don't want to trip, either. At home, I have the opportunity to recharge the light every few nights of usage, even in extended periods of no electricity (I can always use a charger in the car or a jumpstart battery)On a camping trip, I might carry one of these, but only if I weren't backpacking. You might be able to recharge one with a solar unit, but that's not what you want to be doing with your daylight if hiking, so I'd carry a regular caplamp for that.My previous rechargeable one is in process of giving up the ghost, so I found this one at a very attractive price. I ordered it, hoping it would be as good as my old light. It's much better. It's brighter, the light is slightly more yellow than pure white (I prefer it so) and has a detent aiming on the clip, so you can vary the light point from down to up. My old light lacked that, and the way I wear my hat, It struck too low.I bought this light and my old one because they sit ABOVE the brim of the cap. I find if a light sits below the brim, it interferes with my vision. Also, lights above the brim seem to block scattered light which reduce visibility.Charging time is comparable or less with this new light. It also has cob lights for area and a spotlight for focused light. I generally prefer the focused, but if working close, I'd like the cobs. Both methods have two levels of light. The different styles (cob vs focused) are activated by pressing in different areas of the rubberized switch. There is a rubber plug/cover for the charging port, so it should be relatively water resistant.Price was very attractive and shipping was 2 days. It even arrived ON LABOR DAY. I didn't think anyone would be delivering packages on Labor Day, but this light came then.If you need a rechargeable caplamp, buy this light.

This is a nice little cap light. I have several forehead lights (strap-on headlights) that are very useful, but sometimes I wear a baseball cap and the forehead lights don't really work well with a cap. This cap light is a great substitute. It has a USB rechargeable battery that usually lasts long enough for me to do some outdoor chores during the shorter days of winter. Don't think it would last to shovel the driveway, or go for a bike ride, but it gives good light for light vehicle maintenance, taking out or bringing back trash bins from the street or just getting ready to go to or from work before sunrise or after sunset. I live on a poorly lit rural road, so some kind of light is needed outdoors after sunset to effectively do anything. The light has two pushbutton switches that allow for activating a low and high beam floodlight and a low and high beam spotlight. It is a little difficult to find the switches by feel when the cap is being worn. But, a little fumbling around leads to success. There is a glowlight located where the switches are that shows red when it is charging and green when fully charged. I lost one of these lights at work one day and liked it enough that I bought another.

Used this product for the first time today! It was great and save me a lot of time. The clip for hat usage could be a little stronger. The light provided was amazing. The battery longevity is remained to be seen.

Very good hat lamp my biggest gripe was that it only had one spotlight if it had 2 more or you can run both the floodlights and spotlight it would be perfect.

The clip light came quickly and met all my needs. It clipped securely to my baseball cap and weighed so little that I wasn’t even aware it was there. There are multiple light settings to select from. I’ve used it daily since I received it to walk the dog after dark. Since I live in a warm climate, I anticipate doing my dog walks early in the AM, later at night, and before bed. I love how it keeps my hands free to securely hold the leash and do necessary clean up. It lights up the reflective portions of his harness and leash, which ensures that motorists and bike riders can see both him as well as me. The fact that it’s rechargeable will make it a wise choice fiscally. Great product.

I bought one for my husband which he uses on early morning dog walks. Very bright, clips on baseball or stocking cap, and easy to recharge. It worked so well I got one for our son too.

Bought these because of the excellent reviews, one review said they lasted 90 plus hours, they don’t even last 90 minutes.Only review I would agree 100% with is they are lightweight. Would not recommend or buy again

It works very well, nice and bright for walking at night, reading, ice fishing, or for working on things when you need both hands, the charge seems to last quite awhile too with the rechargeable battery being a nice bonus. Beats changing batteries all the time. It’s a bit bulky and is a bit obstructing when it’s placed Nader the brim of your hat but I use it mainly on top of the brim. When reading at night by the fire I place it in the bottom of the brim and then you can put it in a tilt position so you can aim the light exactly where you want it. All in all very happy with my purchase and for the price point you can’t go wrong 👍😊 I’ll be ordering another one soonJanuary 27/2021 an update on my purchase, the original light developed a problem and the supplier took care of the issue very quickly, I had a new no charge replacement sent to me within days of asking for warranty assistance. I’m very happy with the care and warranty service that the seller provided, definitely two thumbs up service 👍👍
