Karina Rubberized Bobby Pins, 30 Count (Pack of 1)

These are 2 inch bobby pins, not those long roller pins. They are completely rubber-coated, so there is no exposed metal. I have always used this size pins in the regular metal finish, which worked great in my thick hair, but I realized they were contributing to scalp issues because of a metal sensitivity. These rubberized pins have been the perfect replacement! And I find that they grip better and are less noticeable because of the matte appearance. I just wish there were more colors. I have a deep penny-copper hair color, so a light or dark brown would be ideal. Not a deal-breaker. I feel these are worth the price difference from metal pins, because of the better scalp comfort, and if anything, it's made me more careful to not lose them!

These are the best little bobby pins everrrr! I have bought these TWICE! They hold in place and barely budge ALL day and I have hard-to-hold hair :P The lightly rubberized coating really makes a difference and they have just enough tightness that they stay in place until you take them out. They cost a little more, but they're worth it if you use them daily like I do! *thumbs up* KCJ-Nashville

I have a LOT of hair, but it's all super fine and silky, which makes regular bobby pins difficult to use as they will sometimes just "slip" right out of my hair. This is especially true if I don't texturize my hair first with something like hairspray or dry shampoo. I don't have any problems like that with these bobby pins. The rubbery coating allows the bobby pins to stay in my hair, even when I'm sleeping (and I toss and turn a lot). I have bought multiple packs of these and I will continue to do so!

I was all ready to dislike this item, when I saw the size. I was expecting SLIGHTLY smaller that the regular size from years ago. these looked like they were for a child. I still think they were a little expensive (for 30 pins) but they DO THE JOB. I put them in my thin, fine, hair, and they hold ! even after leaving them in overnight. the coating is not thick, and I wish they came in other colors, (my color is blond/white) but they DO work. just order them with something else so you don't have to pay the $5+ (minimum) shipping.

exactly what I was looking for. my hair is long & curly & usually manages to fall into my face so I use Bobby pins a lot to keep it but since my hair is thick I found myself adjusting the pins all day. these are so much better, they stay in place but don't pull my hair at all. I tend to misplace them & I'll be purchasing again when I've misplaced them all.

I use stronger professional versions of this as I am a hairdresser and have a salon, but I needed some that weren’t so hard-core for my three-year-old. It holds baby hairs back amazingly through baths all day through school. Now if anybody knows where they are that would be great because I lost the entire pack within 12 hours of opening it. I had one pin for 24 hours it was amazing.

I'm on the search for the perfect rubberized bobby pin. I'm sure these are perfect for someone. That someone is not me. I have thick, wavy hair. Some of my hair is fine, some is coarse. These held just okay. I found some con-air ones that held better, but if you have regular hair, I'm sure these work a lot better. They do hold better than traditional bobby pins, and I'm sure with a ton of hairspray that they can last all day for someone with normal hair. They did pull out painlessly. It would be nice if they came in multiple colors.

I have recently found out that the all metal ones have been causing me to itch because I have a sensitivity to the metal. So I found these and they work really well. I’m very happy with them and would definitely order them again.
