Fitment: great Protection: great, including hinge protection that is slim enough to not add too much more heft Stand function: Great, Hinge can be a little stiff at first. Feel: great, not slippery. Textured hinge protection helps Qi2/Magsafe: Magnets are in the correct position, unlike what is pictured in the promotional material. I have a thinborne case as well, and this case has worked on all charges that worked well with the thinborne case, with almost the exact safe charging ramp up behavior. Wishlist: I wish it came without the screen protector as I'd rather have that replaceable by me independent of the case. Solution: use some wd-40 along the seems on the protector face, this will soften the adhesive used; let sit for a few minutes, then use a straight edge blade to get between the screen protector and the rest of the case and slowly cut through the adhesive making your way around the screen protector. TL;DR: Great case, Qi2/Magsafe works with magnets in the correct position, screen protector can be diy removed with wd-40, straight blade, and elbow grease.

My Tongate case for Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold phone was installed in early June 2025; It fit the phone ideally, worked very well, and I always used the kickstand. The glue of the hinge near the camera on the kickstand got loose and the hinge broke off from the kickstand in November 2025 (so after about 5-month of use). Luckily, this case has a life-time warranty for the free replacement. I emailed Tongate after-sale service using Tongate's online request form; I got a response the next day asking for my receipt delivery address for the free replacement case delivery. The replacement case with a new kickstand hinge design arrived within 3 days. Tongate provides a great phone case and delivery a great life-time replacement per my experience.

Very good phone case and sturdy so far. After initially thinking that the wrong phone case was sent cause the wrong phone noted on the box it came in we found that it works perfectly

The fit is good, but the privacy shield collects finger prints too easily. The stand is really fantastic and it also doubles as a holder. The magnet on the back is REALLY strong and it allows magsafe chargers to be used. The only really issue is that, over time, the black finish of the case flaked off all over my face and hands. The good news is Tongate provides a warranty and they really do stand behind it. When I told them the issues I had with the flaking. They offered me a full refund, no questions asked. I feell 100% confident buying products made by Tongate again just knowing that they're not just some fly by night manufacturer.

Had it for a few months, have had a couple drops with both being less than 3 foot heights. While I had no visible damage to my phone when I missed my back pocket the first drop, it began acting up. Could have been software issues according to Google searches about the disfunction of the phone honestly, but I don't think so. The next drop was about 18 inches from the ground onto soft linoleum (fell from the toilet paper holder), and the screen protector broke. That's all fine, but now I have to get a completely new case because the screen protector is built into it. The front slips off too easily as well, as both drops caused the front panel to pop off. The wireless charging isn't great either, as I had to stop using it when I woke up and my phone was nearly dead where it stopped working after I set it on the charger for the night. I'll be curious to see if the next case works better, as it could be the charger base I was using. I'll update if I remember to let you know on that. While I'm here, I suppose I should mention that the layout of the kickstand doesn't allow for use while unfolded in the orientation that keeps the camera on top without falling over forward, so videos calls aren't great using the big screen. For over $80, I expected WAY more... And to top it all off, while I never noticed damage to the inner screen from something getting pinched in it, my screen developed a faulty pixel that caused my inner screen to fail. I can't say the falls caused it because the first one was a month before and the second happened after the inner screen broke, but I can't imagine it helped to have a case that obviously wasn't up to the task, especially with such minor falls onto fairly soft indoor floor surfaces and short fall distances. Thankfully the warranty covered it, but this could have been MUCH more costly for me than just the $80 they got out of me.

I want to love it since it's so expensive. However the magnetic ring is just off where my Pixel 9 Fold Pro receives power. It starts to charge and then disconnects. It's frustrating and after a night on a charger it fails to charge, it becomes useless. The case, ignoring the charging ring, is top notch, has protected from falls. And covers all the bases well.

It is a good sturdy case easy to apply

I was initially skeptical due to some of the reviews suggesting the magsafe component was not in the correct location. After some testing, it seems to be perfect. I bought a wireless magsafe charger to go along with this case and there is no problem whatsoever. The charge is consistent, the magnet is strong enough for me to feel confident in the stability such that my device does not fall. Magsafe accessories work beautifully. The privacy screen is among the best I've seen. Not only is it one piece with the front protector, meaning that there is no chance for bubbles with an incredibly easy application, but the privacy screen itself only ever so slightly dims the main phone screen. The selfie cam lines up perfectly as not to interfere with photos. The angling is perfect and gives me confidence in my privacy when using public transit. The case itself feels very sturdy, is a nice smooth texture in my hand, and is quite thin. I haven't dropped my phone (yet) so no comment on the actual protection. Overall the price is steep but I believe you get what you pay for, and is well worth the money.
