The hose needs to be positioned no more than 10 cm off the ground. It won’t connect to a standard American faucet, but it does come with an outdoor-faucet adapter, which thankfully fit my sink perfectly. It works great, cleans well, is easy to maintain, and isn’t too heavy at 45 lbs.

I use this in my apartment in lieu of going to the laundromat, which is cheaper and saves time. It holds about half a load and washes at least as well as a laundromat washer, if not better. I put in 2 tablespoons of detergent for a full load, and add vinegar to the rinse cycle, then hang my clothes up to dry. I had a two compartment one before, and this works so much better. This one comes with adapters to hook it up to a sink (pictured), and a hook on the drainage hose to keep it in place. It automatically stops and starts the water, and I don't have to switch tubs for the spin. I've had it for 3 months now and it's working great. Downsides: I wish there was a beep or something for the rinse cycle to add my vinegar (or fabric softener for anyone who uses it). It can agitate a little too well for delicates, so I still opt to wash those by hand. Sometimes I spin twice for heavier loads. It does retain a little bit of water, but I run the tub drying cycle to help get more of it out. All in all, I would buy this again.

The good: the washing machine leaves clothes clean and almost dry; if it's delicate fabric, you can hang it up and it dries quickly. The bad: it's noisy and shakes. I live on the top floor of a building and I'm worried I'm disturbing my downstairs neighbor. So far I've used it about five times and it hasn't given me any problems except for the noise, which is a bit quieter than other machines, but it's not as silent as I expected. My clothes come out cleaner and smell better than those from paid washing machines.

Worth every single penny! Perfect for our household of two older folks. No more laundry mat! Our clothes feel cleaner, smell great and lightweight clothes are pretty dry after the final spin. No leaks, easy to use, easy to store away in our pantry (we bought a wheeled dolly.)

I cannot give 5 stars because it's misleading. It doesn't have 20 inches as described, and it doesn't have 2.0 cu ft as described. It has smaller dimensions and less cubic footage(it has maximum 1.3). Otherwise, it's very nice and quiet, good enough for a small apartment. I recommend it, but pay attention to the real dimensions.
