Defective strap ruins a good sole

The soles on these are great, but the left slipper has a clear manufacturing defect. The strap is asymmetrical, making it impossible to keep my foot centered. My heel keeps slipping off the back. The right one is fine, but unfortunately, I can't wear the pair.
