BG Electrical NBS22G-01 Double Switched Power Socket, Brushed Steel, 13 Amp

Absolutely brilliant

Bought this to replace an old standard socket and I'm really pleased with it. The brushed steel colour and grey inserts look smart and modern, giving the room a much more premium finish. The fit was spot on, it's compatible with standard UK wiring and everything connected without any issues. Once installed, the switches and sockets function perfectly, with plugs fitting securely and good connectivity. It feels solid, durable and well made. A simple upgrade, but one that makes a surprisingly noticeable difference to the room.

If I had to mention anything, it’s that metal faceplates can show fingerprints slightly more than matte plastic alternatives, so occasional cleaning keeps it looking fresh. Overall, a well-designed double socket that focuses on everyday usability and a cleaner visual finish rather than unnecessary extras.
