These are decent dog booties for a dog with pad and nail issues. My dog has SLO which causes issues with his nails and these are easy to put on before going outdoors. They do not appear really waterproof when it is very damp outside but will work ok on the morning dew or light mist on grass. They will get wet and require drying out if the ground is saturated or it is raining. During those times I just tie plastic bags around the booties because I do not feel at this price point any dog boot would be that waterproof.

Sadly, misleading photos (no doubt just poor shots, not anything underhand) meant that the product was chosen for the wrong reasons and didn't do the job it was purchased to do. Sent it back.

I bought the boot to use throughout the day for my dog's hotspot on his rear paw. At night he wears the cone but this gives him a break during the daytime. After cleaning and applying ointment, I place a non stick gauze pad over the sore and cover with boot. I ordered a large for my wheaten terrier and fit is ok but think medium would have been better. Happy with boot and my dog seems comfortable with it too.

My German Shepherd, Mia, on her fifth birthday, sliced open her paw, and after various visits to the vet, something had to be done to keep her from licking her wounds. The wraps at the vet had given us were practically useless as Mia would rip them off, and begin to lick and remove the stitches from her paw. After the second time, she was able to remove her stitches. I decided that something needed to be done. I saw this medical boot on Amazon and as I was a little weary that it wouldn’t be able to withstand Mia I bought it anyway and I am so glad that I did because this was the only thing that kept Mia from licking and reopening her stitches. She couldn’t understand how to take it off which was great so her paw was able to heal nicely, and now she is running around as rambunctious as ever after finally getting her paw to heal all because I put her in a medical boot for her recovery. She also loves splashing in puddles with the medical boot, and it was able to keep her wound and stitches, virtually dry, and that is a real challenge when it comes to Mia so that was more than a relief when I realized that this boot was also pretty water resistant.

My fur baby has cracked chapped paws plus allergies on her feet. Somehow she ended up with 2 sores on the top of her paw. I tried several socks and right now she doesn't like them. I tried this and wow she took one look at it and walked off like nothing was there. She leaves it alone. Cones are great until they get stuck in the doggie door lol. There is plenty of room to put bandages and gauze on but doesn't move at all. Gives her paw room and isn't squeezing the sore. She has long nails so at first I didn't think it was fitting right but after a few minutes it was fine. She has bad arthritis and every other orthopedic issue including knee surgery and another torn ACL. She doesn't walk well to begin with but has no issues with this. No slipping or tripping. I have a happy fur baby and I'm going to buy them for her other paws. After one day her sores look a better
