Would i be able to make an Galaxy S9 with a thickish case and a popsocket fit?

I have a galaxy S10 and it had a thin case. It had plenty of room to open the clip. I just wouldn't put in anything with an otter box, might be a tight fit but it'll add weight to the controller and make it feel off in your hands.
