Outstanding voltage converter
I purchased this voltage converter for a two-week trip to Bangladesh. I was mostly in university guest houses and a couple of hotels. The Ceptics set had all the various plugs that I needed and worked like a charm. I would highly recommend this product.

Worked Great!
This converter works great! I bought this one for a trip to the UK. (Previously I'd purchased a different converter for a different trip that did not work.) I was very happy with this converter. I used it for the entire trip. I charged phones, a lap top, and watches. I also used a hair dryer and curling iron. I didn't have any issues. I only used this on in the UK, but there are adapters for other countries as well. I highly recommend.

Converter Works. But Power Switch only Controls 200w Outlets.
I purchased this device for an upcoming trip to Iceland. However, I did test it out shortly after receiving it as best as I could while here at home in the US. This converter comes with a cord which fits nicely into the device. The outlet side of the cord is for a USA style plug fitting into a wall socket. I tested out the operation of the device by plugging the device into a USA wall outlet. This means I was powering the device with 120 v. Using a voltmeter I measured the 200w outlets and the 2000w outlet. Though this is an open circuit test as I didnโt load the device down with anything so a true test would be when overseas trying to power the device with a load and being driven from 240 v. But, testing the device in the US, this is what I had found: the 200w outlets provided approximately 120 v. It is controlled on/off by the device switch. The 2000w outlet measured half of the wall voltage, so if traveling overseas, it should be 120 v and may be able to power a hair dryer. I used a USB power bank device as a load to test the USB ports. They seem to work fine, at least for the USB A ports. What was a surprise was that the converter on/off switch ONLY controls the 200w outlets. The USB ports and the 2000w outlet are โhotโ all of the time regardless of converter pier on or off settings. I called the Ceptics customer service representative and am pleased a person will talk to me. Later we exchanged emails. This is good as I expect customer support service from a company I purchase a product from. I provided a detailed written explanation of my testing and observations, the company representative told me he thought the device was defective as the power switch should try the entire converter on/off. Then return process was quite easy as I raised an Amazon ticket and dropped off the package at a Kohls store. I reorder the converter. When the second converter arrived I repeated my testing and found to my surprise that it functions exactly the same as before. Communicating with Ceptics again, I questioned the rep and after he checked with their technical people concluded that my observations are correct, he was wrong. Bottom line: converter power on/off switch only controls the 290w outlets. There is. I control over the USB ports or 2000w outlets. I recommended the website descriptions and package documentation reflect this proper functionality of the LED light and switch function.

Worth the money
Worked well in Brazil and Argentina. Expect it will work well in Europe too.

Perfect for travel- it worked like a charm
Iโm so glad I got this voltage converter before my trip! I was able to bring my favorite blow dryer while traveling internationally, and it worked perfectly with no issues. The converter handled the voltage like a pro. I also loved that it had multiple spots to plug in my other electronics- super convenient for charging my phone, tablet, watch and more all at once. The build quality feels solid and reliable, and it didnโt overheat or make any weird noises. If youโre traveling and need to bring higher-powered devices, this is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend.

Worked in Europe Multiple Countries
Worked during my 3 weeks in Europe except for one hotel in Amsterdam. They said the ground in the some of the rooms connect oddly so I did buy separate charger for my Mac in Denmark. It worked for the phones, fan, etc but just not the Mac computer. I believe it was the hotel....I recommend this charger highly.

Extremely Dangerous Product
I bought this Ceptics voltage converter specifically because it claims to convert 220V to 110V and clearly labels all three output ports as providing 110V. Unfortunately, that was NOT the case. I plugged in my 110V Ninja blender, and it burned out immediately. To confirm what happened, I took the converter to a professional who tested it with a volt meter. The reading showed the high power โ110Vโ output was actually delivering 220V. In other words, the device did the exact opposite of what it advertised. This isnโt just a defect โ itโs a major safety hazard. A converter that outputs double the expected voltage can destroy appliances and potentially cause fire or injury. For a product marketed for travel and high-power devices, this is completely unacceptable. I will not trust this brand again. If you value your electronics (or your safety), I strongly recommend avoiding this converter.

ok to buy
I recently purchased the Ceptics adapter, and Iโm really satisfied with the overall quality and performance. The product feels sturdy and well-built, and the compact design makes it very convenient to carry while traveling. The adapter works perfectly and provides a secure connection without any looseness. I also appreciate the neat packaging and the included cable, which adds extra value. The brandโs attention to detail and quality is clearly visible. Overall, itโs a reliable and efficient product that I would definitely recommend to others looking for a good travel adapter or power solution.
