I recently added this boot knife to my everyday carry gear, and it has exceeded my expectations. Good for the price, sheath is a bit too tight and is hard to unsheath one-handed. For the price it can definitely be used in self defense and is for sure sharp enough and easy to use. I’d suggest getting a new sheath for it though as personally I like to carry it on my hip which is tough with the standard sheath. If you’re on a budget and need something to protect yourself with, it’s worth it.

Its okay the sheath really locks on to this thing and I feel like the blade gets duller every time I take it out and put it back in. I can feel the plastic being cut when you remove and place in the blade

Love how convenient this is. I use it around my neck for walking my dogs at night just in case I run into a coyote. works well if you ever need it, pulls out fast!

Perfect small size and convenient use. If you’re looking for something small to carry anywhere for convenient reach. This is great for you. The design is amazing

Overall just a bad design. It looks cool and functional, but in the hand is a different story. It is difficult to remove from the sheath, but that may improve over time. The pocket clip is useless. No tension whatsoever. The functionality is non existent. You can't really use this as a punch dagger. Your fingers beside the item are way too close to the sharpened edges. Any impact would result in self injury. Aside from that, theres no great way to hold it where its of any use in a real self defense situation. Also, I purposely used the word sharpened edge above. It was sharpened, but it didn't come sharp aside from the obvious tip of the blade. It is sharp enough to cut you if you use it like a punch dagger, but it would hurt the user before it hurt the target.
