VICSEED Ultra Stable Pink Car Phone Holder Vent [Never Fall Off & Break]

Your car vents have to be long enough to hook this holder on (I have a 2025 Kia Soul & it fits perfectly). Otherwise it is a great and sturdy phone holder. It holds the phone securely and it tilts. My son has the older version in his 2013 jeep that he has had for 2 years. It is still working just fine. It is still awesome.

I’m very happy with this VICSEED car phone holder and have had a great experience using it. It was very easy to install into the vent in my car and feels secure once it is in place. My phone stays firmly in the holder and has not fallen out while I’m driving, even when going over bumps. The mount feels sturdy and well made, and the overall quality is much better than I expected for the price. It is also easy to put my phone in and remove it when needed. Overall, this is a great-quality phone holder at a great price, and I would definitely recommend it.

This worked with my Pixel 6 inside a Encase just fine. This seems to be a solid piece of equipment and I am hoping it lasts. It was a replacement for one I had bought 3 years ago that I had replaced but the newer model did not fit my needs. The seller shipped fast !!

I previously purchased two VICSEED magnetic mounts—which I love—for my SUV. My wife, however, prefers this side-clamp style mount over the more discreet magnetic style mount, so we spent the last two weeks testing this phone mount in her sedan. She has been using it with her iPhone 11 with case as shown in the video. She absolutely loves it over the junk we have purchased in the past. (I am embarrassed to admit I have spent an obscene amount of money trying one style mount after another in an attempt to find one that works for her needs.) As they say, "Happy wife, happy life!" Pros: * The unit is shipped with two different mounting devices which should adapt to a variety of car vent arrangements. The device that worked best for us was the small, simple, twist-on vent clamp. * The padded side clamps adjust to any size phone and grip the phone tightly without scratching. The side clamps have a built-in ratchet mechanism that will not allow it to loosen its grip while driving over speed bumps and potholes. Other units we have tried had only spring tension and the phone would pop out on bumps. One unit which cost me $85 plus shipping required a screwdriver to set the tension on the side clamps. Too tight and we could not remove the phone. Too loose and it would fall out while driving! With this unit, It only takes one hand to pop the phone in or out of the holder—not two hands like some units we have tried in the past. * The side clamps release instantly with a single press of the easily accessible button on the lower left side as shown in the video. Again, it takes only one hand. So convenient! * The discreet platform on the bottom of the mount has an opening which allows you the option of attaching the charging cable to the phone. It is padded as well and adjusts up or down to your liking. * The holder is attached to the vent clamp with a ball-and-socket joint so you can adjust the unit to any angle and to allow portrait or landscape viewing modes on the fly. * We prefer attaching to the vent over other styles which attach to the windshield, dash, visor or cup holder. These other styles block your view of the road or as in the case of the cup holder styles, cause you to look down and away from the road. Besides, my wife prefers to keep her coffee in the cup holder! * Unit looks and feels high quality. Sturdy materials, not cheap plastic. * Although written instructions are provided in the box, assembly and installation is simple and intuitive. * The price is right! Cons: * As you would expect, because the unit is mounted to the air conditioning vent, the phone will partially block the flow of air from the vent. * On my wife’s car, the up and down motion of the louvers is restricted. However, the side to side movement of the vent is not affected so she can still receive air from the vent. Your car’s style may produce different results from ours. * Depending on the design of your car’s instrument panel, the phone may block some controls. On my wife’s car, this is not the case.

The ears broke off it was good til it broke

I had the previous version of this holders and there's several things I don't like about this version. The phone release button is only on the left side. Depending on where you mount the phone and which hand you use to release it, that button can be awkward to press. The phone also doesn't come with only one version of mounts shown in the pictures. I needed the version with the spread out feet as my vent pivots and feet keep the phone from pivoting. I contacted the vender and Helen was quick to send me the mount shown in the first picture. Unfortunately this mount had been redesigned and no locks on to the vent blade. The old design was a spring loaded clip but the new one uses a threaded design. The thread is too long and won't allow the clip to close enough to grab the vent blade so the holder just hangs on the vent loosely. Be aware that the ball joint is the weak point of these designs and will eventually fail as the fingers around the ball crack. They do last several years in the So. Cal sun so I'm ok with that. Update - I see the first picture has been updated to no longer show the mount with the spread out feet. Update - 5/28 Helen contacted me again for more information about the fit issue with the alternative feet they sent. The product manager contacted the factory who found some of these holders with the old style mounts and they sent them to me. This is beyond great service from a vendor. I've updated my rating to 5* because the second set of mounts are exactly like the old style from 3 years ago and I'm really happy because these are the only ones that fit some of my vehicles.

I was searching and searching for a holder that would accommodate a large phone and bulky otterbox case and a lot of them didn't work. This one holds my phone perfectly with some additional room. Very satisfied with it!
