Then I explained to him that the ingredients also contained witch hazel and bilberry fruit which together were more than likely the reason for the change. One of my family members suffers from hemorrhoids terribly. He has tried almost everything available in stores, and while some worked temporarily, nothing gave him the relief that he needed......until we found HemRid. This product works folks. The product takes a bit of time to get through one's system, but it targets the problem areas and provides actual relief. With so many similar products on the market, it was nice to find one that actually works and gives the relief that it claims to. If you are like me and have a loved one that suffers, I'm sure that you also want to do what you can to help him or her. If you have a loved one that suffers from hemorrhoids, give this product a try. It worked for my family, and it can work for yours.

I have have spent well over $100 on various herbal pill forms including this one with little help. I then spent $30 dollars for 2 office visits ($15 each) for a procedure called 'rubber band ligation' and now have almost no hemorrhoid problems at all. Save your money and look into a very effective 5 minute procedure for a no surgery alternative. I am not a doctor just a former roid sufferer.

This is a blatant review padding scam. The 5 star reviews are fake and are just here to trick desperate people into buying the product. Using an herbal supplement to cure hemmorhoids is like taking a supplement to heal a broken bone. It just doesn't work that way. I purchased all the top hemorrhoid products on Amazon on a whim and this was the least useful. I'm surprised it's a top seller since it does absolutely nothing for hemmhorroids save for a placebo effect. You'd be better off buying fiber and laxatives or changing your diet or any number of things. Or you may be lead to realize that this company just makes a lot of money off of selling bunk supplements with heavy marketing.

Let me start by saying I have no colon... I had an ileostomy in 2007 due to Ulcerative colitis. I was going an average of 25 times a day post-op. it was horrible! I have tried EVERYTHING under the sun to help with the pain of the hemorrhoids that developed due to my frequencies. I used creams, wipes, anything I could to go less... prescription strength Imodium, antibiotics, even cholesterol medication... to help reduce my frequencies. NOTHING WORKED! As time has passed my frequencies have lessened to about 12 times in a day... and that is if I really watch my diet. If I slip up, I can go anywhere from 15-20 times. So its bad! I was recently tested for Crohn's and of course I am clean, so the doctors have no other real options for me. I was at a dead end. I finally decided to not focus on reducing my frequencies but actually focus on eliminating the pain from going. (mind you I was taking Tylenol and Ibuprofen through the day and if the pain got real bad that I could hardly walk, I would take and oxycodone). I looked up ways to get ride of hemorrhoids and of course found all the other recommendations I had seen in the past that I had already tried. EXCEPT THIS... I figured... why not. what do I have to lose. $20 is nothing if it will help! I HAVE NEVER FELT BETTER!!! AFTER ONLY TAKING THIS MEDICATION 1 DAY I ALREADY HAVE RELIEF!!!! NOT KIDDING!!! I have never felt so pain free! I haven't been this pain free in months. the only time I ever go this little is when I am on an antibiotic for a week or so (ciproflaxin) and I can't be on that permanently so this is incredible. I can't rave enough about this product. it has truly changed my life. I have 2 little boys and being in pain all day long is not an option for me! I can't function for them if I am in perpetual pain! I've had occasional hemorrhoids through the years that always responded to the general diet adjustments and OTC relief within a couple of weeks. Not so this time. I have had a horrible one for about 6 months that would not improve with any sort of treatment. It got much, much worse this past week. It was unbearable to even sit on my doughnut pillow and the pain was constant. (Think of having a busted lip...only somewhere else.) I was in tears just thinking about a trip to the bathroom. Well, these pills were a last resort before asking the doc if I was going to need surgery. I couldn't stand it anymore. I read all of the reviews I could find, but was still skeptical, as the herbs were rather common ones. The HemRid arrived in the mail at lunchtime 2 days ago and I took one immediately. I took another at dinner that night and thought I felt better, but figured it was just my imagination, so I checked. The "busted lip" was still there, but felt better, and amazingly the hemorrhoid had gone down *completely*. I took another one at breakfast and another at lunch the next day. I am now sitting at my desk without the doughnut cushion and am off the medicated wipes. Yup, plain white TP is not a problem at this point...after 4 doses. I will continue them x3 day until the problem is completely gone, but this stuff is nothing short of miraculous. I can't even bring myself to complain about the cost. This is real medicine. Being a sufferer of Celiac and IBS, this is most likely a problem I will have again and again. I will not hesitate to use this product again. UPDATE 4/26/13 - Had to discontinue after a few days, due to extreme dizziness. However, a couple of weeks later, the hemorrhoids have not regressed. AMOF, they are almost gone with traditional TLC, which was not working before. I would definitely use again in short spurts, despite the side effects.

Not a miracle cure all but a definite relief. It took about two weeks at two capsules a day but there is an obvious improvement. I am placing a repeat order.
