Our coffee maker was missing this part, and it made coffee very weak, even with lots of coffee being used, a coffee filter on top of the grounds, etc., as water sprayed down in a central stream and moved the coffee grounds away from the "drain" hole. It screwed on by hand and immediately made the coffee flavor much better/stronger, not wasting coffee like without it. I think this design w/o a central hole, makes it work optimally. Sturdy metal.

This replaced the cheap plastic defuser and works the same. We've used it through 2 different coffee makers and it is still like new after all these years!

I had to plug 3 holes for use in my home Bunn unit, the flow must be set for the commercial units. But a bit of J B Weld worked well to plug half the holes and the unit functions well.

Replaces the water distributor on our Bun coffee maker. Fit perfect, coffee is stronger.

Our Bunn coffee maker at work was consistently making awful coffee. Coworkers were constantly complaining about how weak the coffee was. So we decided to inspect the coffee maker. Upon inspection, we discovered the sprayhead missing. We assume it had come off in the filter basket and gotten discarded with old coffee grounds. We checked with our logistics department about getting a new sprayhead, but they could replace the whole coffee maker, so we took matters into our own hands not wanting to cost our company several hundred dollars. I found this Bunn 6 hole spray head for $6 and ordered it. We installed it on the coffee maker and immediately there was a difference in coffee quality. Other coworkers asked how we fixed it. So now everyone knows to double check the filter basket before discarding the old coffee grounds.

Replaced the plastic one on BT Speed Brew Classic. No more overflowing, and the machine now works as well as my commercial VPR unit. Great coffee and upgrade.
