2-in-1 Extreme Length Clean Mascara, Primer, Black, .27 fl oz

My lashes look so thick and long. Great volume. It is not hard to apply, the primer goes on easily ans dries quickly so you can add the mascara on top. Its on auto ship for me too, which helps me remember when to switch out my mascara!

I'm only using this for a few days. I like the clean ingredients, as I'm trying to eliminate as many chemicals from my life as I can. I used waterproof mascara in the past, and this comes right off when I use plain coconut oil as a makeup remover. I don't know how this will hold up if I'm caught in the rain or have a good cry; however, I'm going to keep on buying this again when I need more mascara.

This mascara is very good for lengthening when you use the primer. I’m not sure I’ve noticed a volume/thickness increase, but have noticed lash length does look longer. I usually give it about 30 seconds for the primer to dry before using the mascara, otherwise it does clump a bit. I would also recommend wiggling both wands along your lashes during application to avoid clumps. In general I do like this, but noticed a few other important points: it will definitely run a lot if you get it wet (e.g. rain or crying), it will flake or smudge a little by the end of the day - especially if you rub your eyes, and while it does not make my eyes itch, I found it best to put in my contacts AFTER the mascara is fully dry. I’ve accidentally got some mascara a few times in my eye with the wand/trying to smooth out clumps and it totally made my contacts (daily wear type) useless after that. That all probably sounds like the mascara isn’t worth it, however I still actually like this mascara. I’d say it’s perfect for an average day’s wear, just not an extended day or in some cases. It does come off fully for me.

55 years of wearing mascara and this is the best I have ever had. Goes on beautifully and cleans off easily. The primer definitely makes it look better. I have used some very expensive ones before but nothing comes close. I will be trying other products they make.

I like trying all sorts of makeup products and I have always wanted to try this one as it has fantastic reviews. Mascara really depends on what type of product you like. It’s highly individualized, right? I would say this is a medium wet, heavy cream formula. There’s a primer built in on the other end of the tube. The primer is about the same as any other lash primer I’ve used. The wand is molded flexible silicone or plastic. I find the formulation to be too wet and thick to be able to get close to my lash line. I just get a mess. The spikes on the wand are too wide set to get any separation, I get clumps that I have to go in with a lash comb to fix. The color is true black. Overall, the formula is too wet and heavy. I loose too many lashes when washing it off and it still leaves behind a lot of product. I don’t get the length, lift and separation that I prefer. So, I don’t recommend it nor will I repurchase it.

I don’t usually wear makeup unless it’s part of my job as talent. It does its job turning my light eyelashes darker but in a natural classy looking way which is what I want. The best part is that my eyes didn’t burn and turn red at the end of the day unlike the other cosmetics brands do.

If you're a person who has straight lashes and uses waterproof mascara to help them stay, it might not be the best option if that's something you struggle with. The primer made my lashes fall instantly. I had to break out the hair dryer to dry my lashes up. I curled them again after the primer and that helped a little. I ended up using my waterproof mascara to keep them up and added more coats with the honest mascara. I did notice there was no fallout and no smudging or anything coming off on my under eyes at all. And I put mascara on my top and bottom lashes. The primer applicator is tinnyyyy I dropped it on the floor its so little. It's okay! It has the formula feeling of a waterproof mascara. I didnt try it without the primer so I'm not sure if the mascara itself would keep my lashes up.

Best primer and mascara ever. Will buy it again.

the primer does nothing for me and the Mascara leaves me looking like i have less lashes than without

I was recommended this mascara. It is fantastic, probably the best I have ever used. Will definitely buy this again.
