Ear Plugs for Sleeping

"Noise reduction" would be more accurate, but I came into this not expecting them to be 100% noise blocking.I am very happy. They have greatly reduced the amount of noise nearby (husband snoring) and almost completely block out noises further away.We live in an apartment that has thin floor/ceilings and a "cement boots" upstairs neighbor. We hear every step (stomps, thumbs, etc), sometimes voices (they are also a very loud talker), every time they go in/out on their porch and water running through the pipes in the walls in our bedroom.We also often have late night trash pick-up (midnight, 2am etc). Our windows are thin, so we also sometimes hear a lot of the traffiic and people talking/dogs barking, etc.I'm a fairly light sleeper. I hear almost none of this now, and they have reduced the other sounds enough that I go back to sleep quicker when a sound does wake me up. I can still hear my alarm (I do need to turn it up a little more than before).They are comfortable and easy to put in. It does take a little bit to get used to hearing your own breath and sometimes heartbeat but not too bad.I'm very happy with my purchase and just wish that I had done this a long time ago!

While wearing these -I did not sleep at all. I heard my partner snoring all night, heard cars outside, heard my cat sneeze in the other room, and heard the fan oscillate back and forth.I had to put back in the foam earplugs…These are not noise canceling. They reduce noise a bit but do not block out noise. They are comfortable to wear but are not meant for sleeping. I can see me wearing these at a rock show but even then, they might not block noise well enough.When I see noise canceling advertised, I expect it to work like my AirPods. If only they did, because the flat surface on these makes them great for side sleeping. I just wish they worked.Don’t waste your money.

Very nice! Good quality, feel solid, do a good job at reducing sound from what I tested. I haven't been able to try it with bass yet (the worst of sounds and what I got these to block when trying to sleep.) I will update once I've had some time to use them for real.But all in all I'm happy so far!

Really enjoy these earbuds. I live in a first floor apartment in a noisy city with lots of nightlife. These have kept me from waking up at all hours, and help me go to sleep much faster. They’re very comfortable sleeping with, even for a stomach/side sleeper like me. They do fall out over night, but that isn’t a bother for me.

This is just what I was looking for. Doesn’t bother me when sleeping on my side. Perfect for side sleepers or someone who rolls around a lot. Sleeping like a baby now!

These are Not 45db. 10db or 15db at best. They fall out to easily, even after trying the different ear tips. Almost feels like it doesn't do anything. Cotton balls probably do better sound blocking. Mack's silicone putty earplugs are much more effective, although strange to handle and more expensive in the long run. Foam earplugs rated for 32db are also considerably better, but can be painful after a while. but at least they don't fall out.

I have a pair of Loops, which are rated at roughly -20 decibel noise reduction. I also have a pair of traditional foam plugs, which are rated around -32. These claim to be -45, but they're nowhere near that. My Loops cancel more noise. They fit well, I like them a lot, but the amount of noise cancelling is pretty much nonexistent. I tried multiple sizes of the included eartips just in case the fit was the issue. I ended up keeping them as a backup to my Loops, and actually ended up using the replacement eartips on my Loops, which made them more effective. They're also half the price of my Loops, so if I'd found them first, I'd have opted for them. But as high level noise reduction, go for something else.
