pitaka for S25 Ultra Case 6.9 with NFC, Protective, Cairn Case-Black/Grey

I've been a loyal buyer of Pitaka Cases and accessories for a few phone generations now. I always love the sleek, beautiful, and premium design of their cases. The aramid fiber always looks so nice on my flagship Samsung devices. I already have the 600D Black/Grey (Twill) Ultra-Slim Case and absolutely love it! It's been my favorite case series for all my galaxies. Then they released the Pin Button case for the S25 Ultra, and its functionality intrigued me, so I just had to give it a try. I think I have a new favorite case! It feels great in my hand. I miss having the wrap around aramid fiber on the sides, but the trade off feels more than worth it, with better protection from the TPU, and the inclusion of 3 programmable buttons. There isn't a noticeable seam between the aramid fiber and TPU, which I honestly I found pleasantly surprising, because I was afraid it would be a huge departure from the seamless all aramid fiber case. The soft Nappa leather lining really feels like it just wants to cradle and protect my phone. The exterior textures have just enough grippiness to not feel like it's going to slip out of my hand, although I always use some sort of magsafe grip as well. Pitaka makes grips that match the color scheme of your phone, which is great if you're a fan of matching accessories. And magsafe accessories stick really well to the case. Visually, the case is so slim that it adds almost zero bulk to the phone, and looks just as premium as the phone itself. It slides smoothly into my pocket and I can easily fit my phone in my Gamesir controller grip without having to remove the case, which is a huge plus! The only slight complaint I have, is that the Pinbuttons aren't always as responsive as I'd like, but they still work every time. Sometimes I just have to hold down the button a beat longer before it responds. So it's really not a big deal, and I honestly think it's more about how NFC behaves rather than any fault of the case. I currently have Calendar, Camera, and Samsung Health mapped to the buttons, but with using Samsung Routines, the possibilities are nearly infinite! You can map nearly any action or app to the buttons. I highly recommend this case!

[UPDATE]: After 3 months of use, the case has wrapped and no longer fits my phone, and none of the buttons work anymore. Disappointing for the price you pay. I’ve been using this case for a few weeks now, and it’s exceeded expectations. The aramid fiber feels premium in hand, and the MagSafe compatibility works flawlessly with my charger. What impressed me most is the balance between slimness and durability—it doesn’t add bulk but still feels sturdy enough to protect against drops. Shipping was fast, and the seller packaged it securely. Highly recommend if you want a blend of style and function.

Ordered October 12th. November 14th the 3 NFC buttons are no longer working. We'll see if Pitaka stands behind their product and if so, I'll update my review. It was cool while it worked. The 3 additional NFC buttons located on the Left side of the case were programmable to do whatever you wanted. I set mine up for: Top = Launch a often used app. Middle = Launch Google Maps (Basically another often used app) Bottom = Take a screen shot Like I said it was really cool while it worked, so I hope they'll stand behind the product. I'm a little uneasy though if it failed this quick. It makes me think it's not a very durable product. The phone case itself is nice. It's low profile, although I'm also unsure how much protection it actually offers. I do like the slim/low profile of the case though, as long as it offers adequate protection.

Pros: Really nice texture on the back, almost like a little finger tip massage when you run your fingers along it, I've always loved the feel of these aramid fiber cases. I really like the precise camera cutouts as it's important for me for a bit of extra drop protection. The weight seems on par with other amazon cases I've purchased which is great for the added functionality. The buttons are wonderful, clicky, and the set up process is fairly smooth with the provided instructions. It's awesome to be able to set them to almost anything I would like and currently I have my camera, reddit, and wallet as my buttons and can change them super easily. Cons: The "border" or the sides of the case is made of what feels to be a cheap plastic. It reminds me of when I would get cases off temu or etsy for $3-$8. For such an expensive case I would expect it to feel a bit higher quality, so that is a let down for me. It is the type of thin plastic that is stretched out over time and I can already see it slightly happening at the top left. I would love to see them wrap the really nice aramid fiber around the sides and seal it off at the lip similarly to their cases. Another con is that the aramid fiber is very finger printy but if you've ever had a case made from this material you're well aware of this and this is not just the fault of the case. Overall: I will use this case due to the great functionality, but I'm curious to see how the sides wear. Pitaka, if you're reading this, I really hope for future cases you will consider wrapping the aramid fiber around the sides as that would make it SO much better.

The Pitaka new PinButton case for the S25 Ultra has impressed me in several ways. From its snug fit to its user-friendly design, this case has proven to be a reliable companion for my phone. Perfect Fit and Ease of Use The case fits the phone exceptionally well, ensuring that it remains securely in place. Unlike other Pitaka cases, this one is notably easy to put on and take off, which is a significant advantage for users who frequently switch cases. All the cut outs are exactly in the correct locations. Protective Design An added benefit is the little lip that protects the screen when the phone is placed face down. This feature gives me peace of mind, knowing that my screen is less likely to get scratched or damaged. Material and Handling The material of the case feels good in the hand, providing a comfortable grip. Additionally, it seamlessly moves in and out of pockets without any resistance, making it convenient for daily use. Button Setup Setting up the three buttons on the left side of the case is straightforward. After watching a quick how-to video, I found the process to be simple. The buttons themselves are reliable and work 100% of the time, enhancing the overall functionality of the case. Suggestions for Improvement While my experience has been mostly positive, there is one aspect I believe could be improved. The case currently features three buttons on the left side. I would prefer it if the bottom button were removed, leaving only two buttons. The reason for this is that I occasionally hit the bottom button by accident, especially when I’m using the power button

First the good: The case fits good. Feels good. The buttons are clicky and easy to press. I really have no complaints with build quality. The pin buttons are a neat idea and you can do so much in combination with modes and routines. For example, you could have it set up so that it will open an action list with all the screen timeout settings. Or you could use them in conjunction with home automation, like to open garage door, or turn on a light. The possibilities are staggering. Magnets are strong enough, though I wish they were strong enough to hold it to the fridge, but not a deal breaker. Now, to the bad. The pin buttons are too easy to press. So.... if you're like me and you set your phone on its side to watch YouTube, etc the buttons depress, activating whatever you have set up. If you flip it over, the power button depresses turning off the screen. So, in my "screen timeout" example. I set it up with the condition to be pressing the back button first, to avoid accidentally opening the action panel. Problem is, when you scan an nfc tag, or in this case, push one of the buttons, it makes YouTube and other apps close to a pop-up window. Really annoying. Only options are to turn off nfc, which disables the buttons, which makes the buttons not work. Then every time I want to use the pin buttons, I gotta turn nfc back on. To go to that much trouble, I might as well just do the action from phone itself. My recommendations to Pitaka are simple. Raise the rubber around the buttons so that the buttons don't protrude. They could also add a button on the other side that, when pressed would compete the circuits of the other buttons. This way, you would have to push that trigger button, at the same time as the pin buttons. But, if they just raised the rubber around the pin buttons, that would suffice and not raise the cost of the case much. Unfortunately, I have to return this case and I hope they fix it in the future. I really wanted to like it.

Fantastic case that has it all, plus some extra features! This case offers superior protection from every angle and fits like a glove. No wiggle or gaps when the phone is fully seated in the case. I love these cases with built-in MagSage magnetic rings because it offers so many options and accessories! The inside of this case feels like suede and is very protective to the finish of your phone. The buttons are very clicky while remaining protected from drops and from the elements. The PinButtons can be programmed to do almost anything you can think of, from changing phone settings, turning WiFi or Bluetooth on off or toggle, to running fully automated routines. You can program just about anything you can think of. Want to launch the Amazon app, turn off smart lights, turn on your TV, or open your garage door? If you have those things set up in Smartthings, the buttons can do it. It's quite incredible. True innovation in phone case technology. This case is expensive, but it's the most technically advanced phone case you can buy, and checks all the boxes. All in all it's a good value and a great product.

My case warped and no longer fit my phone. Bought in June, by October it is unusable. Return window had passed, but Pitaka still sent me a replacement and the communication was great through that process. Great cases and customer support.

Después de unos meses de uso puedo decir que me agrada mucho, ya que es lo más delgada posible, sin que sienta que no protege mi celular. Los botones NFC están ahí, y se van a activar incluso si no los tienes configurados, no hay manera de dejarlos como botones obsoletos, si lo pulsas te va a mandar una notificación. Muy fáciles de configurar. Me encontraba ante la decisión de esta y otras de aramida más delgadas, y esta es la que mejor recibe los accesorios MagSafe, por tener el borde de las cámaras muy pequeño. El único aspecto negativo que tiene es que se llena de huellas la parte trasera, pero limpiarla un par de veces al día no me molesta.

Custa caro, realmente caro, mas é a melhor capinha pro S25 ultra. As funções do dos botões são muito uteis. A capinha é super leve. E essa versão protege bem as bordas do aparelho. Compraria de novo.
