Overall the carrier is fine. It is heavy and requires two people to lift it and put it in the receiver. Getting to the receiver and putting in the lock is much easier when the carrier is in the folded position. It is a little difficult locking the side rails in place, since you can’t reach both sides to guide the rail into place. I used the carrier on the back of a travel trailer and had no issues with it during our trip.

Does the trick! Use to transport an electric trike and electric bike.

UPDATE: Was NOT missing hardware. After digging further into it, it was already partially put together. However directions are still really hard to understand. Have not traveled with it loaded yet, but it's hitched up and very stable. Order delivered missing parts 11, 12, 13 and 14. Thankful for tractor supply, $24 later I have my needed parts. Directions are extremely hard to follow, diagram only.

I RARELY leave comments, but for this I was compelled to. It is VERY WELL BUILT. All welds are more than satisfactory, it goes together well, nylock nuts on everything. They give you a locking hitch pin with it. I'm a protective coatings specialist (36 years in the high performance coatings industry) and can say that the coating is satisfactory. It looks like a fusion bonded polyester, which would have been better as a polyurethane, but that's just me being picky. I have a Jeep Wrangler, and turned the receive pin upside down which lowered the basket just enough that I can open my tailgate (with nothing in the basket) - I was surprised. I can't fold it up because my spare tire is in the way, but probably could if I used a hitch extension. Super easy to put together. Would recommend to anyone looking for one of these.

We took this to Florida from Pennsylvania. No issues and worked very well. I highly suggest lights be put on it before night time use. You can use your tailgate while this is attached to your car. The hitch tensioner that comes with it is a must or definitely moves too much!

This looked like a good idea but unfortunately It wasn't. This was great for camping at first but after a rainstorm everything in the bag was soaked. It turned out part of the seam was sort of rigid and not a smooth cut as the other parts of the bag. I can't speak for anyone else but for us this was a big waste of money that ended up costing more money after the water got in The frame rusted almost immediately, I have no idea why it would rust within the first two months of ownership.

The hitch cargo carrier is a great idea and the quality of the product was very good. The problem was that it was missing nuts and bolts necessary to hold it together. The box and plastic bag inside the main box were both torn open and all the parts were loose in the main box so it looks to me that this was a returned product. I contacted Vevor support and they were helpful but it was going to take a few weeks for the missing parts to be sent to me. I ended up keeping it instead of returning it and buying the missing hardware at the local Home Depot. YES I would buy it again and my only complaint is the hassle of making it usable.

I needed a basket with rails for the trip. It was not hard to assemble it and install it on my Subaru. Did it by myself it is a little on the heavy side but I managed it. I was able to fit a lot of stuff on it and the it being able to fold down to stowed it while parked was a plus. It is spacious and I was able to secure all my stuff with out worrying it will fall off and losing it on my trip.

easy to assemble, quality is very good, hitch and other components are solid......I would recommend any one to buy from this vendor.....it fitted the back end of my rv like a glove. having a fiberlass cover for my spare tire made it difficult in finding a carrier that would fit my unit.....vevor model number GJ0019 did the job. happy with my purchace.

The cargo hitch itself was very nice, when we opened to assemble it was missing the screws and mesh. It appears that someone may have purchased and taken out the screws and then returned it. My two star is because of the STRESS and terrible return experience and back and forth with customer service. They attempted to send me new screws but it arrived too late (took 2.5 weeks to arrive) for when I needed the product. The refund process took months and having to explain my experience more times than I can count to Amazon and the overseas customer service. I would say if everything is in the box it’s a great product. Especially for camping and road trips.

It’s very heavy for an everyday use and it doesn’t come with the cover mesh net as advertised ( misleading )
