Working great in a high temperature environment
I tried these LED bulbs in an electronic coffee roasting machine (Behmor 1600+) that came with a dim, yellowish incandescent bulb. I wasn't sure if these LED bulbs could withstand the 400oF and above temperatures inside the roaster, but I gave it a try. So far, the first and only bulb I installed has done great, is very bright with a nice white light. I roast 1 to 3 batches of green coffee beans each week, with temperatures rising from ambient at start to a peak temperature of between 380-410oF that is held at the peak for 2 to 3 minutes. I am still on the first bulb, after roasting at least 10-12 batches. I am very pleased.

Know your fixture when replacing this size Halogen
Very nice, daylight temperature LED lighting. My preference to typical lower temperature lighting that I see as being too yellow. Also nice that it dims without any flicker (just one dim "Nite" setting on my microwave hood). That said, be aware of your bulb fixture, I expected plug and play, and it wasn't in my case. Typical Halogen fixtures may not allow for the mounting of these very nice LED bulbs without modification to the receptacle. The issue is that standard receptacles have a smaller rectangular cross-section base (where the glass seals against the pins) whereas the new LED bulbs have the same outside diameter circle as the bulb, a complete cylinder, all the way down to the bottom of their base. In the case of my microwave hood lighting, the pins on the new LED were too short/base was too large to use the existing fixture because the smaller rectangle socket didn't allow the larger diameter bulb to fully seat in the fixture. Likely many workarounds, one could use a replacement bulb receptacle made for this LED version; in my case I modified the existing fixture (by literally removing the built up rectangular portion of the base) to allow the bulb to fully seat.

Iโm warming up to them!
These were a little too bright based on choosing the bright white option verse the cool white (which would have matched our under cabinet led lights). Thatโs a small issue as the lighting is great and since we have a stainless bezel on the oven control panel there is a reflection that will take some getting used to. I have a low setting on the light and would probably opt for this in the long term but still had the reflection at the dim setting. I went through many of the incandescent bulbs burning out on a regular basis before so I can deal with a reflection. I have yet to cook with these and will have a follow up to report after that. May need the cooler option to โseeโ the food natural color better. Note: I did have to trim the silicone base near the pins with a razor blade as it did not fit the G8 socket. Note #2: after an hour or so it is a lot cooler than the xenon or halogen bulbs from before. Iโm good - may need to order the cool white and buy a fixture to utilize these in another place in the home ;)

Work great, save money on electric bill vs Halogen bulbs
These work great. We use them for our under cabinet lighting in the kitchen. We like to use these lights with a dimmer switch for night lights. We used to use Halogen bulbs. Halogen made fixtures very warm, almost hot. Halogen bulbs were at least as expensive, but did not last long. These last longer and our electric bill has gone down. I also don't have to worry about keeping plastic bags or other things away from the light fixtures now.

Good lights... not that dimmable
These are great LED lights and they fit the G8 bi-pin base perfectly. I had no trouble installing them in a pair of "halogen under cabinet" light fixtures in a book case. They are dipped in polyurethane to protect the LED chips which forms an envelope around the light mimicking the glass on a halogen bulb. Physically they are very similar in dimensions to the halogens they replaced. The lights themselves are two circuit boards at roughly 90 degrees to each other covered on both side with LED SMD chips as you can see in the pictures. The light is bright and seems to match the 6000K color temp advertised though I didn't actually test that. The reason I only gave them 3 stars is the dimming. I have full-voltage, rheostat-controlled lights and the LEDs don't linearly dim. They basically work at full bright or they will drop to a half-bright when the voltage drops sufficiently. I would call them more 3-level LED lights (full, half, and off). I was expecting linear dimming like every other LED with dimming support but this isn't linear dimming by any stretch. However... they bulbs do dim. Non-dimmable LEDs will barely dim then simply go out when put on a variable-voltage power supply. These at least accepted the wide voltage range and did, in fact, dim so I can't call them non-dimmable just because they don't dim linearly. They fit the definition of a dimmable LED, just not the expectations. Overall good bulbs and a great package price. If I ever need this bulb again I'll probably buy the same thing.

Very bright, clean white light and easily modified to fit in your socket area.
Very bright white light lets you finally see what you turned the light on for in the first place. They run cooler and don't use as much electricity as the old ones do. I used them to replace the old ones in the vent hood over the stove. It was literally night and day in comparison to the dim orange-yellow light that was there before! It's easy to make the light fit into the socket location by trimming off some of the clear material if needed. The first photo has the exposure turned down to show detail. The next one shows how bright it really is. The last ones are how I modified them to fit the area.

Flickering and power issues
These bulbs caused all my under canonet lights to turn off. One of the bulbs flickered. Im returning all of them for safety concerns.

These bulbs work great!
I bought these LED bulbs to replace the existing high intensity bulbs in our under-counter GE hockey puck style lights and they work great! The brightness is fine but the color of the lighting is a little bit different than the regular bulbs so bear that in mind if you're only replacing 1 of many bulbs. I don't know how much energy this will save but it's a step in the right direction.
