Perfect EDC utility blade
Perfect EDC carry. With the one blade storage it's perfect for someone who already buys utility blades as is. Warranty still usable at any store.

WONDERFUL PURCHASE (I CAME BACK FOR MORE) ! ! !
I am a collector of high quality knives such as Benchmade, SOG, Gerber, Leatherman, etcetera. After purchasing this Craftsman utility knife, I rarely use any of my fancier knives. It is kind of sad that I now have over $1,800 worth of kick butt fancy knives, however, I'm in love with my easy peasy Craftsman utility knife. I wish I would have found this product 25 years ago. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED & THEN SOME!!!

Excellent quality but could be easier to open
I love Craftsman tools, and they make up the bulk of the hand tools I have in my garage. Brightly colored tools seem to be more prevalent these days and I like that. It makes them easier to spot. The quality of this knife is excellent, as I would expect from Craftsman. In terms of design, I think it could be better. Changing out the blade is easy with this knife. My other utility knife requires a screwdriver and disassembly to change out the blade, but the Craftsman blades slides out with the press of a button. That's great. But the opening mechanism could be better designed. There is no thumb stud for one-hand opening, and the groove for your thumbnail is on the wrong side for right-handers (i.e. those of us who make of the majority of the world). So to opening the knife requires two hands and flipping the knife upside down, with the blade pointed toward your body, unless you're in the habit of opening knives with the fingernail of your left index finger. I find that awkward. The button to release the locking mechanism to close the knife is appropriately triggered by your right thumb, as it should be, so I don't understand the odd design choice for the opening. All told, it is a great knife and a quality Craftsman tool, but they really could have done a little better with design from my perspective.

Very sharp, good supply of additional blades.
Opens very easily and safely. Closes up just as well. Very sharp and practice especially for cutting down on line purchase boxes.
