High-Quality Construction, Fast Brew Times, Amazing Results
Excellent machine. High quality construction with a clean modern design. Guided brew function works great and allows for precise coffee/ water measurements. The insulated flask is a great alternative to the traditional hot plate that causes flavor loss. Each component is well thought out. This machine produces a lot of coffee quickly with a result that is very close to a pour-over method brew. A few suggestions: the rainbow colored LCD display isn't my favorite. The option to change to a neutral tone LCD display would be great. The provided large batch filters could be slightly taller as a 10 cup batch nearly overflows the grinds. Overall I'm very satisfied with this purchase and think it's a great option for those looking for an efficient, aesthetically pleasing coffee brewer with great flavor profiles and adjustability. I also have the Fellow Ode II grinder that is amazing. It's a super fast, quiet, grinder that compliments the Aiden brewer perfectly. The Aiden coffee maker and Ode grinder are a great match for the coffee enthusiast that wants to save time and still get great tasting coffee. I used a variety of light roast beans during the initial testing of this machine and each brew turned out great. Looking forward to trying out more of the adjustable settings with different beans.

Excellent Coffee
I've had my Aiden about a week and love it. It is a bit pricey, but I did not find any competition that could do what it could do for noticeably cheaper. I love the brew profile flexibility it offers. I've yet to connect it to the internet, mostly under the "if it works don't fix it" principle. Also, I roast my own coffee, so brew profile sharing is not of much value to me. What I find is that it beats at least 80% of the pour overs I buy at Starbucks or the local coffee shop as the typical barista is busy, or not that experienced or just doesn't care all that much. The only way I can beat it is to spend way more time and energy than I want to spend each morning. So, for me, I get a really good cup for way less than I would pay at a coffee shop and don't have to leave home to get it, nor spend more of my time making it. That's why I'm willing to pay the price for it. The other thing to note... while the app looks really nice, it was less effort for me to manually create two brew profiles that tweak the medium and dark profiles they give than it would have been to set up the app. Frankly I'm impressed with that interface they provided right on the brewer. When I bought it, I was expecting something much more cumbersome. WRT the cold brew profile, my first attempt was not quite as good as Starbucks, but I'm sure I will tune things up quite a bit as I get more familiar with that profile and play with grind size. I do like what I got better than my usual approach to cold brew. I plan to create a custom cold brew profile, and try a longer soak and see how it turns out. On the hardware, I like what I see. The plastic makes it light, making it easy to move around. Hopefully it stands the test of time. The size is real nice. The two brew baskets are great. Brew time is what I would expect for a pour over. Brew capacity is fine. I haven't experienced any of the issues noted in some of the reviews (and hope it stays that way).

Would be great it it lasted longer than a few weeks!
I don’t know that I have ever purchased a product that I have enjoyed as much as this. The problem is that enjoyment only lasts a few weeks. I enjoy coffee, but I am not someone who can tell you every note they can smell or taste. I just know things I like more than others. I roast my own coffee, but I don’t overanalyze roasting profiles. I like light and medium roasts, but hate dark roasts. I know I like pour-overs but not drip coffee. I have always looked for a machine that could let me put the pour-over away and was beyond excited when I came across the Aiden. I knew Fellow was trusted in grinders, kettles and scales, so it seemed like a no brainer. We got our first Aiden and loved everything about it. The app really serves no purpose, but the machine made good coffee and that is all we were looking for. We used it for morning hot coffee and it made cold brew a breeze. The problem is that after three weeks it started the dreaded “add water” error. No matter what I did it would not brew and just kept saying “add water”. I contacted Aiden and they basically just brushed it off saying I needed a new one. I pushed back a little wanting to understand why it happened and they basically said “you probably have hard water even though it is filtered.” I was skeptical but allowed Amazon to send a replacement. I decided to only use bottled water, but this one only lasted two weeks before the “add water” thing started. This was only using bottled water and absolutely no signs of build-up. The machine just can’t be trusted. The coffee is great when it works, but it is not reliable, the app serves no purpose and you can’t even download a firmware update when they release new ones. I was hoping the most recent update might help, but they send them out in stages and there is no way to force it. My machine says “offline” and is a brick. You would think those customers should be the first ones to get a chance at the update. This machine was so close, but it is actually way further away than could be imagined.

Precise and Versatile Coffee Maker!
We finally got ourselves to the Aiden. We spotted it at a Crate and Barrel location recently, and decided to get it. We like buying things after seeing it in person. Since both of us have very different opinions on coffee, we approached it with some skepticism. The features are impressive though. And cool! For my husband, who’s an engineer, the mechanical details were the focus. Spout design, the carafe, the showerhead. Systems that provide control. The fact that it can pinpoint settings is fantastic! The app lets you dial in variables like bloom time, temperature, and pulses. The suggestion of how many grams to grind is a good guideline. There are other technical features such as setting the specific elevation of our city speaks to the thought process in designing this machine. Nicely done! I’m a school teacher. I need to have my coffee ready. The ability to schedule a brew so that the coffee is waiting for me around breakfast time is great for my hectic mornings. The machine makes it easy. I’m fussy about light roasts, so I love the setting for it. Together, we love that it gives us great quality coffee! Looks like a million bucks on the counter. Goes well with the lines of our kitchen. It’s also cool that you can do a cup or the whole carafe. We also got the grinder, which is impressive, but that’s for another day. Oh, and the silicone ring inside the brew area is a big plus. No steam escapes from it, which protects our cabinets.

I love my Aiden - super high-end features at a reasonable cost
I've owned your basic 12-cup coffee maker for a long time, even had the same model now twice in a row. I knew I was missing something and can say without a doubt, the Aiden has been my best "just for me" purchase in a long time. Apple is my gold standard...once I started unpacking the product, I knew I made the right decision. A unique locking system on the outer box to avoid internal shipment breakage. Once opened, the custom fit protective foam uses the absolute minimum required..and then the first touch of the product. Damn, the powder coating finish just feels so good in the palm. Looking at the unit on our countertop is a treat everyday, the Aiden's design is as elegant as Apple products. Now who knew that making coffee could be so refined and tweaked to your hearts content to get that just perfect brewed pot of coffee. Well, if you want to do that, easy peasy with the app, just experiment away. The app is intuitive and makes playing around a breeze. Really unique is when buy their beans/grinds and you use their pre-built settings you don’t have to experiment....of course you can modify those if you so desire. The carafe is double walled stainless steel, so your coffee stays hot without using a burner plate to over cook the coffee, so it actually costs less to use and here in California, our electricity rates are too high to begin with. Unlike every other coffee maker I've owned, I don't have to move it from under the cabinets when brewing as no steam escapes, so no concern for damaging your underside of the cabinets. One last thing. Every coffee pot always seems to drip when pouring right at the end. The curvature of this carafe spout is perfect, I never have to wipe the counter. The Aiden has hit all the big design elements and then goes further to make perfect all the little annoying things I've always been annoyed about.

The Absolute #1 Coffee Brewer On The Market in 2025
This is the absolute best coffee maker that can make 1 of 2 cups of fantastic coffee or a big carafe holding 1.5L of coffee. Whether you use the recipes that are created by Fellow or your own using the App , you will still make some of the best coffee you have ever tasted. The Fellow Aiden may take a day or two getting used to but once you get the hang of it you will never make coffee on another coffee brewer again with the exception of espresso. Like any other coffee brewer the Aiden can’t make a cup of true espresso. I personally believe that if it could the making of espresso would not only add to the cost of the Aiden but also subtract from its purpose—brewing a really fantastic cup of coffee. If you have ever watched some of the various coffee ‘experts’ review the Aiden on YouTube one of the negative points they make is the build quality. However, I can tell you now that Fellow has to have done something about it. The reviewers all claimed that the plastic was too soft, of a very low quality causing the Aiden to bend under pressure when pressed down with some minor force on the top right corner. It even showed than when this happened the seams on the top of the brewer separated that again showed the poor quality of the build all to keep the price down as much as possible. When I received my Aiden it was the first thing I checked because had it been true I really might have returned it to Amazon. BUT, it simply was not true. I can only assume that Fellow changed the plastic used in the manufacturing process because my Aiden is made of a strong plastic of high quality. THANKFULLY! Of all the coffee brewers made today of high quality, this one is the best I have ever considered. Because of the carafe’s straight walls when emptied there is no coffee retained as is in all other carafes. There is nothing at the pour spout to keep some of the coffee in the carafe. The water tank holds 1500 ml of water which equals the maximum size of the carafe. And the water tank is removable for easy filling. Two brew baskets come with the Aiden. One is for making 1-4 cups of coffee and the other for 5+ cups. The filters used are the Melitta #2 for 1-4 cups and the Melitta flat bottom 8-12 cup filters for the 5+ cups of joe. Also in the same area is the brew head. In there you will find a switch with 15 holes where the water comes through and down onto the coffee grounds. When the green coded cone-shaped brew basket is selected for making 1-4 cups of coffee, you must turn that switch counterclockwise or to the left so that water comes out of only three (3) holes which are located dead center of the brew head. If you forget to make the correct shower head selection the Aiden will remind you with some beeps and will refuse to brew the coffee. On the flip side of that coin, when wanting to make 5-12 cups of coffee you must select the blue brew basked and turn the selection switch clockwise. This will open all 15 drip holes so that all the coffee grounds in the round, flat-bottom brew bracket will be properly doused in water for making the best pot of coffee possible. And like the other basked of choice, the Aiden will not brew the coffee until the switch is turned to the proper position. When you first plug in the Aiden you will be made to input certain settings so that it can properly make coffee. Those settings include the language, the chime, clock in 12 or 24-hour time, and even your elevation above sea level where the Aiden is currently, etc. On the Aiden there is a small round, full-color screen where everything from settings, menus for brewing coffee, the recipes I mentioned earlier, and even a game to play. Once you go through all those selections and menus you may find that it is too small for inputting your own coffee recipes and other things. Almost everything you can do on the screen and the control knob you can do on the App that you can download to your iPhone or Android-based phone. I strongly suggest that you download the Fellow Aiden App as soon as you unbox your Aiden, plug it in and follow the instructions for setting it up. The App is extremely easy to use which give you almost complete control over making coffee of your choice. You can create your own recipes and through the App have the Aiden make that coffee recipe for you. You can control things such as bloom time, bloom Ratio, bloom temperature, number of pulses (up to 10), time between pulses, and time of each pulse, etc. And there are many recipes of coffees that Fellow provides at no cost when you set up the Aiden to your WiFi network. Basically stated, Fellow has made making coffee not only easy and fool proof but has provided everyone with the best coffee maker on the market today. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE FELLOW AIDEN COFFEE BREWER!

High teach, sleek but easy to use, high quality product
This coffee maker is fancy and high-tech, sleek and modern but easy to use. You can choose the type of brew you want or you can let the machine decide for you depending on how much ground coffee you add to the basket. It also offers options for scheduling which is nice, it feels like someone made a cup of coffee for you in the morning when you wake up. The carafe is stylish, pours nicely and keeps the coffee hot. It is easy to clean, which was one of my main complaints about my previous coffee maker (Breville with grinder incorporated). Also easy to lift and fill the water resevoir. It is quiet and allows you to choose the alarm when the coffee is brewed. Overall very happy with the purchase, I am learning how to make the perfect cup of coffee for myself and I am getting closer!

Great coffee, brewer quality at question
TL;DR - Buyer beware, can make an exceptional cup of coffee if it stays in one piece. Two stars because the coffee is actually really good, just need the brewer to stay whole. A very stylish and compact brewer, I really did enjoy my Aiden Precision Coffee Maker while I had it. For us, 10 cups is plenty but it isn't a lot of coffee for a large family. It would brew to a your selected temperature (within range), dial in your other settings too, and it was painlessly quick. Now to my issues. My brewer experienced degradation in the showerhead and the detection mechanism of the filter basket fairly quickly (around month 3 of ownership). This caused pieces of the showerhead to fall apart into the filter basket below. This rendered the brewer completely non-functional. For a brewer that cost 2-3x what a normal coffee pot does, this isn't something I expected at month 3. I first thought this was a fluke and I had a bad part kit from the factory. I ordered a warranty replacement part set and went back to brewing coffee. Another 7-8 months go by and the brewer begins to act a bit strange, it struggled to complete a brew cycle, stalling out. Not really thinking much of it (its still a coffee pot), I went about my business and came back to clean the brewer after it had cooled only to find the showerhead had fallen apart into the filter basket, AGAIN! Just like before, only this time it had taken more pieces with it. At this point I'm convinced the brewer is faulty, it can't brew coffee from filtered tap water without breaking. I contact Fellow again, but this time I ask for a solution and not another set of parts. That or I want them to take the brewer back because it's apparently defective. They politely respond with the typical response that many of us have heard before, that since I didn't buy from them directly, I have to go through my seller. They didn't even try to salvage the situation, no resolutions. So, buyer beware.

Serious coffee maker for people who care about their brew
I love this thing. The brew profiles are where it really shines — there's a great community of people sharing profiles for different coffees, and if you can't find what you're looking for, you can even use an AI like Claude to help dial one in. The only quirk I've run into is occasionally the finish tone sounds elongated, and the screen gets stuck for a few seconds if manually selecting a brew profile. Looks alarming the first time it happens, but it's never once affected the actual brew, so I've learned to ignore it. Hopefully, a firmware update will eventually fix it.

Makes my mornings way easier
I’ve been using this coffee maker every morning and honestly, I love it. The touchscreen/UI is super simple — even when I’m half-awake, I can figure it out. I set the timer the night before, and it’s so nice waking up to fresh coffee waiting for me. The design looks so good on my counter, and the coffee actually tastes great. The thermal carafe keeps it hot without burning it, which I didn’t realize I needed until now. Refilling the water tank is easy too — no awkward messes. Overall, it’s made my mornings smoother and a little happier. Totally worth it.

Disappointed after just 2 months - Fellow Aiden Coffee Maker
Disappointed After just 2 Months--Fellow Aiden Coffee Maker I've had the Fellow Aiden for just under 2 months, and unfortunately, it's already become a very expensive paperweight. The unit keeps flashing 'Add Water' despite the reservoir being full. I reached out to the Fellow's support team, and while they've been responsive, the troubleshooting steps have only made things worse. First, they advised flushing the unit--this triggered the same 'Add Water' error, Then came descaling, which only repeated the same issue. Now they're asking what kind of water i use, which feels condescending. For a premium priced machine I expect more. My Breville coffee maker lasted over 9 years being finally replaced due to the grinder failing. I chose the Aiden for its sleek design and promise of precision brewing, BUT none of that matters if the machine can't even get past startup. Hoping Fellow makes this right, but as of now, I can't recommend this product. Sorry, a little grumpy without my morning coffee.

Next level coffee brewer!
I have been wanting this brewer since its release and finally pulled the trigger! After the first brew, it has transformed my coffee workflow and makes great tasting coffee as advertised. I am pleasantly surprised at the feature set and over build quality of the machine. Fellow makes amazing coffee products and this is no exception. Highly recommended for sure!
