Woolly "Down" Pillow

My search for the perfect non-toxic pillow has finally ended! Not only does this pillow not smell or outgas anything headache-inducing, it is perfectly moldable for support wherever you need it. I took out a bunch of the stuffing to make it the right height and fill for my side-sleeping self, and it still lends itself to making a little dent for my ear, a ledge for my neck, a wee hillock to support the back of my head. And it keeps those shapes while still being soft. I regret having tried any of the myriad horrible pillows I tried before this one. What a waste of money and sleeps! Unless you are allergic to wool, this chemical-free head cradle is totally free of badness and completely full of coziness. If you're on the fence, deliberate no longer and just treat yourself to this puff of heaven.

I have two wool pillows. This one was $70 more than the other. If I could do it all over, I would have bought 2 of these expensive pillows. There is such a difference in the quality. This pillow is stuffed with wool in a way that fills out every inch. When I air fluff it in the dryer, it fluffs it up evenly - not like the lumpy other pillow. It is the most comfortable pillow with the perfect balance of firmness and softness. At first, I felt so guilty spending $100 on a pillow! But, I am so happy I bought it! I wish I had bought two!!

Although a bit pricey this pillow is great no allergy issues no poor construction issues and most of all no comfort issues. There was more than enough of the wool fill to remove and soften the pillow up which is what we needed. So nice to buy a product made in the USA and suitable for our needs.

It's not that i hate the pillow but their impossible return policy. I received it and it's supposed to be medium fill. It's quite full so as a side sleeper I would need something less. I wanted to simply exchange it but that would cost another $35 return shipping, and then another $35 back to receive the alternate pillow. So after already spending $110 on a pillow I was very much looking forward to I would have to spend an additional $70 to get what I expected. I don't know what I'll do at this point but I am deeply disappointed with the standard of a great sounding company I really wanted to love and continue to buy from.

The first week was amazing, but they get lumpy quickly. I know there's a whole procedure to supposedly remedy this, but I can only imagine that pulling the wool apart would only make it even more lumpy(?) Besides, who has time for pillow surgery....

I bought a wool pillow from another brand from the uk after hearing praise about it’s superior qualities to other pillows. I’m also a major fan of wool almost all that I wear is made of wool so it was only fitting I got a wool pillow so when I got that pillow from that brand it was very hard, flat and having a strong scent. I returned it and decided to gave this one a try from Holy Lamb, and it’s amazing. Complete opposite, actually soft (not as soft as down), and the scent is the same but barely noticeable compared to the other one. So being a wool pillow with all its benefits, and practicalities compared to down and others, with the confidence that I won’t have mold in this pillow which I’m very sensitive to. I’m going to go ahead and call this the best pillow to get for long term use. Only hick is it’s a bit expensive imo but worth it Ethical, practical and comfortable. Thanks

IDK what pillow y’all received vs what arrived at my home. It was flat, terribly underfilled, and stunk to high heavens. Considering I’m stuffed up ATM the fact that the smell was so unbearable says a lot. I gave it 2 stars because it did seem much softer than the last pillow I tried (My Wooly), which wasn’t in little balls and compacted. However, it didn’t smell and was overstuffed. I wish I could’ve kept this one, but the smell and lack of fill was too much to overcome. I chose this over the Woolroom based on the softness and lack of smell comments so now I’m afraid to give that one a try. I literally had to take an allergy pill after unboxing this thing. I usually only leave positive reviews and even then rarely, but with the cost and importance of this item I felt I needed to comment.

I have allergies and knew that I should switch away from a down pillow. However, I love the loft, moldability, and squishiness of down pillows. I'd looked at wool pillows before but could never bring myself to buy one until I saw this one. I was still skeptical about whether it would suit me the way down pillows do, but decided to try it anyway, after my allergy problems worsened. And, I LOVE it. It doesn't loft in quite the same way as a down pillow, but it does have the squishiness and moldability that I like and I've had no problems with it feeling hard or too firm. I did remove at least a third of the filling, to get the feel that I wanted, so it's probably more pliable than it would be if you like a firm pillow and used all of the fill. I highly recommend investing in this pillow if you've wanted to get away from the allergy concerns of down but couldn't give up down's other features.
