Great travel bag!
This is now my go-to-bag for everything. I regularly travel via plane and this bag is within the correct dimensions for all the airlines that I have travelled with so far. It can fit so much and I love all the pockets and straps that it has. The passport pocket at the front of the bag is especially useful if you have used the straps to keep everything neat and secure and I have found there is more than enough room in the back pack. The main reason I love this bag is how comfortable it is - with the waist straps and the added padding then I am able to put quite a lot in this bag without it feeling uncomfortable. I would definitely get some packing cubes as it makes it a lot easier when opening it up fully to pack and grab what you need but due to the suitcase style opening when fully unzipped then you can still access everything. Best purchase for anyone who travels or is active or just needs a comfortable bag that can carry anything!

Backpack - Worth every penny
I bought this recently for a long-haul trip and love (almost) everything. Sturdy, capacious, perfect cabin-size, comfortable, easy to pack and organise. Internal restraining straps in main compartment. Zippered pocket in 2nd compartment for gadgets. Small easy-access compartment for wallet or passport. Two mesh pockets for water bottle/ sunglasses etc. Shoulder straps quickly pack away under zip flap when needed. Detachable shoulder strap provided to use as a holdall. Strong, comfortable handgrip makes bag easy to lug off shelf. Waist strap is too short for me (I am plus-size), but I can order an extender from manufacturer. I love the colour too, with turquoise clips. Just one thing... going through airport security scanner on outward and return journeys, my bag was taken aside for further examination. Nothing found to be wrong. Made me wonder if there is something in the internal structure that sparks an alert. For me, this was a pricey option, purchased after returning a much cheaper unsatisfactory backpack from another manufacturer, but so worth the money.

Brilliant backpack, worth the money
Decided at the grand age of 40 to do a 10 day multi city break and use a backpack. This backpack was brilliant. Note I am fat, old and unfit and I found this backpack to be comfy enough. It was pretty crammed as I'm used to suitcases and 4*+ all inclusive where I don't need to think about what I pack. On others advice I bought packing cubes, and whilst not necessary, did help keep items together. The main compartment opens like a suitcase. There are two additional areas for tablets, books, phones etc. Plus 2 side pockets for water bottles. The straps are comfy and once properly adjusted make carrying 10kg bearable. Used as carry on luggage on Jet2. My other half was miffed that the women's has a key clip when the mens doesn't. Only thing that would make it better would to give different colour internal straps for ease of notice. Yes the colour is more olive green than grey but personally I liked it and thought it looked classy. Recommended you buy this bag.

Another great bag from Osprey ideal for women ideal for cabin bag - tardis
Just arrived at work and packed it full of stuff (i.e. my two bags lap top water etc ) for journey home very comfortable weight distribution good. I have another Osprey bag so know quality is good, also had to run down the platform for my train that was short formed and did this with it carried by handle and it was easy. Just about to take on a three week trip around Europe so will add extra on the review when I am back. I am a 5ft 3 female and fits perfectly :-) Edit a year later, still going strong this a great bag I often use when travelliing to Europe Skiing - I have one big board bag stuffed with suutff this on my back and a small wheeled cabin (I always leave one bag at the destination as return a few times .. I am not big so comfort and weight distribution very important. Really easy to manouvre and quality, if I check it in I zip up the coverfor the back pack straps etc

Great quality
Quite expensive and a bit heavy. But so much better than my last backpack :) it was recommended by a girl i met who is backpacking round the world and is carrying everything in this pack! Great for cabin bag on an aeroplane, love all the features. Really recommend.

Great bag for travelling - ideal size for long trips!
Used this bag to travel South East Asia. Love love love it! It was the perfect size for me. Never got too heavy and many people asked me about it at various points along the way. I could bring it aboard some buses with me if it felt too dodgy to leave below. Found it so much easier to get around with this bag size. I also bought Amazon packing cubes which allowed me to maximise space (rolling things) and also accessing things easier. I used a long slim packing cube which fit along the bottom (towel/flip flops/sandals). And put 3 small cubes side by side across the middle. There was also room for another one along the top. It was perfect! The only downside is it doesn't come with a raincover, so I recommend buying a cover also, as it does tend to get quite dirty. But not essential! I checked the bag in for all flights but did see some other travellers using it as their carry on. Sometimes if it was really full it seemed quite deep, so didnt want to risk it. But I reckon it could be done especially if it was less packed. The outter straps really let you close it further and compress it down even further when closed ;) Looking forward to using it again when travel opens back up!!

Excellent carry on rucksack/bag
I knew what I was buying as I’d travelled with a friend who also had the Fairview 40, and had been very impressed. An amazing little bag with so much storage. Comfortable to carry on back with hip belt and chest fastening. Very tough and it’s hand washable. I think I might benefit from some packing cubes as my bag became a little misshapen, particularly on the return journey. Notcheap but anticipate a long usage

Perfect travelling backpack for women
Very impressed with this backpack! My boyfriend has the Farpoint 40 backpack and initially, I was a little reluctant to spend more money for a ‘female specific’ version. However, I’m so glad I did! There are subtle differences, but the support system is much better - the straps fit my body more and distribute the weight far better than the Farpoint does. Very happy! The bag has got great padding in the straps and back, along with a ‘tech’ compartment in the front which can hold an iPad/laptop which is also padded. The main bag compartment is huge for a 40L bag. There are so many great features to this bag - definately watch some YouTube videos to see them all. Using this bag to go travelling, very excited to use it and am expecting it to last a long time!

Happy with the purchase
I bought this for my 3-week trip to Canada. Decided to only have carry-on since I'll be moving a lot (train, flight, drive) and I'm so glad I bought this bag! Lots of space, easy to carry, comfortable, no messy straps, fits me perfectly! Only thing is the mesh pockets didn't serve me well, but other than that it's a great backpack. Highly recommended!

Estremamente consigliabile: buon viaggio!

Perfect Pack for Young Teen
First of all- I was able to get this pack at a Used/Open box price. It was in PERFECT condition and I was shocked it was so inexpensive. FIT- I bought an XS/S for my 12 year old daughter who is 5'1". It as a great fit for her and I love that it'll adjust with her as she grows. I am 5'7" and was also able to use it. I adjusted it past the lowest setting and it worked just fine. Osprey construction is always top notch. The zippers are smooth and all the adjustments work great. 36L- Even though this is a 36L pack, we were able to go on a 2 night backpacking trip. She was able to fit everything on the inside, but had to attach her sleeping pad on the outside. I also used this pack for a 12 mile day hike. I needed something larger than a normal day pack b/c my daughter and I were hiking in very cold/windy conditions. This is a great versatile pack. Tiny Negatives- I do wish the brain adjusted from the back of the pack. There were times the pack was stuffed and the brain did not want to fully close. If there were adjustments in the back, it would have fit. I also wish there were one or 2 more smaller pockets.
