We purchased an induction stove and with that we needed to order stainless steel pots and pans. I’ve purchased this brand before for my daughter and my daughter in law and they both love them. I didn’t care for the original aluminum, but these stainless steel are great. They stack nicely together for easy storage. I love that the lids seal completely without the hole from the original design. Two lids work for the entire collection. I love the sleek look and the heat distribution is fantastic. The skillets come with Teflon coating and the saucepans without. The large pot has affixed handles with rubber so I wouldn’t put it into the oven These pans cost about as much as the original set, it is a great quality for the price point. As long as you care for these pans they will last a very long time.

I had non-stick cookware which was in terrible shape. I decided on stainless steel this time because I didn’t want to deal with non-stick anymore. I chose this set because of the price and the look of it. It’s absolutely so beautiful! I love that it only comes with two lids and two detachable handles (you can purchase handles on Amazon separately if you need more). I usually only use one to three pots at a time, so I can make do with what comes with it. They’re great because they don’t take up much space. I read the instructions on how to cook with stainless steel and I’ve had no issues with burning or sticking or anything. The two lids are nice and both can fit multiple pot sizes. The whole set seems really durable. The only issue I did have is when I boiled water, I accidentally burned one of the handles. There is silicone covering the handle that will burn easily if it’s over a flame. That was my own fault. I don’t put the handle on when I’m boiling water now just to be safe. But the handles are very easy to put on and remove and won’t fall off when you’re cooking. Would recommend!

The Charote 16-piece stainless steel cookware set really covers all the basics for your kitchen. It comes with a nice mix of pots and pans, including a 4-quart sauté pan, a 5-quart casserole pot, two saucepans (2-quart and 1.5-quart), and two frying pans (11” and 8”). It also includes two universal lids with silicone edges, two detachable handles, a spatula, a spoon, and some fabric pot protectors (Photo 1). How the lids are made was a great idea! The lids have a stepped silicone edge that lets them fit 3 different sizes (Photo 2). That means you only need two lids for six pans, which helps cut down on clutter. The only setup needed is screwing on the knobs for the lids, which took no time. After that, you’re good to go. The pots have shiny stainless steel on the outside and inside, plus measurement markings in both liters and quarts on the inside sidewall (Photo 3). The frying pans have a nonstick coating and a heat spot in the center that changes color when it's hot. The only pan with handles already attached is the casserole one, which has built-in side handles covered with silicone grips (Photo 4). What really stands out are the detachable handles (Photo 5). They make cooking and storage so much easier. You can just snap one handle onto whatever pot or pan you're using, then take it off when you're done. It saves space on the stove and in the cabinets, and it’s great when cleaning because there are no fixed parts where grime can get stuck. The silicone part on the handle keeps the pans safe from scratches when clipping it on or off. For storage, the included fabric protectors are a nice touch. They help keep the pots from scratching each other, especially since some have nonstick interiors and others have polished exteriors. Everything stacks up neatly (Photo 6). Cons – While the silicone edges on the lids are useful, I do wonder how well they’ll hold up over time compared to glass with metal frame. However, the biggest issue with the lids is you can’t use them with the detachable handles. To have the lids sit flush, the handles have to be removed (Photo 7)

I like the detachable handles. It makes these easy to store in a smaller kitchen space. My one issue is the quality of the pans. They are thinner than what I was expecting. They are still good, but not great.
