A Significant Improvement
I use a projector as my primary screen instead of a television, and I've purchased two other Yabers in the past: the Y9 and V7. The V12 is the cheapest of the 3 and has the best features. It's also significantly brighter which makes viewing during the daytime much better. You can see the brightness difference in the photos I attached which show the V12 and Y9 projected onto the same wall. The image of a person sitting is from the new V12, and it completely overshadows the stuff from the Y9 which is barely visible. Other features: - Much better audio, best of the 3 Yabers I've purchased. I no longer use external speakers - New stand allows for easy tilt adjustment, no need to manually fiddle with screws unless that's what you want - New smart OS. No need to buy a Roku or streaming stick unless there are specific apps you want - Options to Autofocus on boot and when the projector is displaced. It's accurate, and you don't have to do it manually unless you want to (unlike older models). Focus can also be changed with the remote instead of at the lens. - Ability to flip and invert projected images with the press of a button. Didn't even know I wanted this, but it's great. Overall I'm incredibly happy and wish I had gotten this sooner. It's absolutely worth the money.

The Yaber V12 delivers great image and sound quality.
The Yaber V12 delivers great image and sound quality. At about 2 meters distance, I was able to get a 70" image projected directly onto a wall, and the quality was excellent — bright and colorful. From around 4 meters, I achieved nearly a 150" image without losing much sharpness; the picture still looked great. Both tests were done in rooms that weren’t completely dark, which speaks well of the projector’s brightness and performance under less than ideal lighting conditions. The built-in operating system runs smoothly and comes with pre-installed apps like Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube. Adding a Firestick can further enhance the experience, in my opinion. Overall, I believe this projector offers quality well above its price point.

Good but not great
Compared this projector with the TCL A1S and this is projector was good but lacked a few major things in my opinion. The lack of auto keystone and clunky OS were my biggest complaints. The TCL had Google TV and very good auto keystone that automatically adjusts to your screen size. Otherwise, this projector had much better audio and was easy to set up with good picture quality.

Totally get the picture!!!
I returned this item because I found it for less at Best Buy even being on sale on Amazon go figure. The item is amazing!! We watched the 2nd World Series game on it with the Dodgers & Bluejays and it was great!!! The picture and colors are bright I did purchase a Roku stick so we could watch more apps and we’re completely satisfied with the projector.

Great for the price
I can’t believe how good this little projector is. The picture is great, autofocus works super well. The speaker sounds good. Amazing. You’ll need a dark room, but this punches way above its weight class. Side note: I would never connect this thing to the internet, the terms of service talk about sending data back to the manufacturer. Just plug your laptop or firestick (probably not much better lol) or whatever into the hdmi port and use that.

An excellent projector with impressive Dolby sound, delivering rich and immersive audio. The picture quality is bright and clear even in daylight, which really exceeded my expectations. It’s easy to use, quick to set up, and offers great value for the price. I’m extremely happy with this projector and highly recommend it

Autokeystone works great, autofocus needs a bit of manual help. Great image quality and sound is good too. Projector fan is pretty quiet. Works seamlessly with a Chromecast in the back.

I had the Yaber Pro V9 for about a year but it had massive issues with dust getting behind the lens which would project on to the screen. Sometimes the hdmi lead would also not be recognised. Also I noticed on panning shots it had a lot of screen tearing as well. I upgraded to the Yaber V12 and right out the box it feels premium. It has a really quality finish, a carry handle, attachment for a ceiling mount or tripod and supposedly dust protection to stop it getting behind the lens. IMAGE QUALITY The image quality is sharp and crisp with plenty of picture options for adjustment. The projector states 4K but it does not display 4K it actually downscales a 4K image to 1080p. SOUND Yaber V12 supports dolby surround. The inbuilt speaker looks nice but the sound is not going to replace your dedicated surround sound system or sound bar. But it will get you by if you don't have an alternative option. It also supports Bluetooth 5.2 which doesn't seem to have any audio delay. However the other day I was using the projector and my phone had connected to my sound system as well as the projector and it caused the audio to be out of sync. A simple fix was to disconnect the projector and phone and reconnect to bluetooth. It was in sync after that. OTHER POINTS The Yaber V12 has 750 ansi lumens, what that basically means is the amount of ambient light in the room will determine the brightness of the image that can be projected so if its too bright you won't see the image as well. Basically the higher the number the better it is in bright light For context my previous Yaber projector had 500 ansi lumens. So it's better but only slightly but who buys a projector to watch it in the sunlight... EASE OF USE The interface on the projector is quick and snappy. When you press a button it responds quickly. Shutting it down is quick as well. The Yaber V9 seemed to take forever to shut down. It supports manual keystone (Keystone is what you do to make sure the picture fits in the frame) It supports Auto focus and Manual focus adjustment. But usually the auto focus is the best way to do it. EXTRA FEATURES The Yaber Pro V9 did not have streaming support the Yaber V12 fixes this issue and supports Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, YouTube and many more. Also it has a dedicated internet browser. But ill be honest I can't see myself browsing the web on a projector. The Yaber V12 supports USB so you can watch movies straight from a USB stick if you want to. GAMING I don't have a ps5 or xbox one to test gaming on it but as i stated previously it doesnt support true 4K so it will downscale your image. But the switch looks lovely on it. There seems to be no Input Lag from pressing a button on your controller either. FINAL VERDICT Overall if you are a new person getting into projectors then you won't go wrong with this as a first projector. Its not the best on the market but at the price range you can do a lot worse. There is currently £130 voucher off on amazon at the moment so a definite must if you're on the fence. It scores a 5 out of 5

So i have an old Yaber Projector, this one claims to have a brighter output. Side by side, they are almost identical so I cant say its that bright. Sound on this device is weak but with a projector its worth having secondary sound output so thats not a major issue. 4k support - i know this is not a 4k projector. I dont expect a 4k image. But it does say 4k support - to me that would mean i play a 4k source and it still shows an image, albeit compressed to 1080p. This does not seem to be the case. I get a black screen and a message saying “Audio Only” on all sources. Thats annoying and false advertising or its faulty. Overall picture quality is sharp and colours are vibrant. Its a great projector for home but not as bright as it claims. In a dark room its more than capable. Its super portable with the handle and easy to use. It looks good and feels well built. The tilt base is very handy. Auto focus is good, keystone is pretty good and the zoom is handy too. Fan noise isnt too bad when watching and not distracting. I just cant give it a full 5* and cant say its best value for money based on the points above. If its a simple 1080p your after then there are cheaper options than this. This is my 3rd projector purchase this month. Its worth buying a few and comparing them to get the right spec /price ratio.

I purchased this as our old work projector (which cost c. £1500 ten years ago) was really poor display quality compared to today's standards. Had a limited budget and thought I'd give it a go without big expectations. I was very pleasantly surprised! It was very simple to set up straight out of the box. Feels and looks reasonably solid for the price, comes with an HDMI cable and does link to various inline media sites as per marketing blurb. The video quality is very good and the picture bright even during daytime without darkening the room. Sound quality is good and you can adjust the treble/bass balance depending on what you are viewing. I do love the stand it comes with - no silly little one-peg feet or piles of books. At any price this is a good machine, at this price it seems like a steal. I work with a lot of display projectors (most fixed in lecture theatres or conference halls) and this one is very good. Time will tell how reliable it is.
