Dragon Ball Super - Part 5 [DVD]

It's back to the future with Future Trunks, along with the growing menace of a few new threats -- Goku's evil doppleganger, Goku Black, and a tea-brewing aid of one of the Supreme Kais, who isn't what he seems (the aid, not the Supreme Kai -- he's actually pretty cool). Action, humor, solid animation and sound mixing. Standard Funimation extras. Recommended, if you're a fan.

This dvd of Dragonball Super has the most fighting of any of the previous episodes for the series thus far.The Lord Beerus saga and Frieza saga didn't really cut it for me. Part Five was very exciting because it had a lot of twists and turns for the plotline as well as fighting. I wanted to know what happened after each episode that I watched. The other three sagas of Dragonball Super took their time unraveling the story and fighting so I ended up taking my time to. BUt not with this one. I highly recommend this item to anyone who doesn't mind martial arts fighint with twists and turns at every end.

The Future Trunks Arc is my favorite episode of Dragon Ball Super!I always loved Dragon Ball, but, honestly DBS was boring until the Universe 6 Arc.That's why, I felt amazing to it.I've got Japanese version of this item, though, also got English version of one.This one is for me to learn English.In my opinion, I like English expressions than Japanese, in the anime.The English-sub seemed to be Japanese literal translation.If it's possible, I'd like to see for the English-dub version too.

Whoo Hoo! No more waiting. I can't wait to watch it. If you are a DB fan, this series is a must-have. I love how the Super series has great humor, great action (of course!), wonderful new characters, and we see a lot more interaction between the old characters. Goku as a vegetable farmer, Vegeta on vacation, Krillan as a cop, and who doesn't love Whis and Beerus?

The best release of super, This is action packed though be a advised the conclusion of this arc will be in the next release.Part five covers most of the fight between goku black vs trunks ,goku and vegeta like I said this part has the most action yet the goku black arc is also the best in the series. Highly recommend !!!

Great show, great quality.episodes 53-65, Part six puts you through almost to the very end of the future trunks goku black saga.. only dislike is that it's taking funimation so long to release the remaining volumes at this rate it will be the end of next year before the finale part 10 Will be up for sale on Amazon.

I'm really glad that I've got this 1 at last becuase I've wanted 2 see how it all started and while I did liked it, it could tone down it's laungue and dramitics a little but otherwise still good 2 pals.

From the pictures I've placed, I put a complete season collection to the part 5 as I had disc 1 of part 5 replaced as somehow it got damaged and broken, however still awesome to have.

To start I didn't expect to like super much when I first listened to it, especially when in japanese in subs the characters sounded like they were idiots when fighting(basically they were saying da da da da da nonstop in a ridiculous way)However in the english dub everything is better in my opinion. The animation, voice acting, and story around this dvd story line saga are top notch. Basically the story makes you hate the villains, especially goku black, while making you want to see more of them cause there so well put together and developed as characters. The best part? When goku black gets beat up, every time that happens it's just great to watch. That just shows how despicable he is lol. I recommend you guys give this series a chance, there are definitly filler and dumb parts in the whole series, but once it gets to the good stuff its pretty cool. Definitely recommended.
