Surface already lifting after using only once. No sharp implements used and instructions followed!!

Coating started peeling off after first use

Tray itself seemed decent enough but not as substantial as existing tray I've got that I've been using for years. Disappointed that after using once on a gas barbecue that the coating peeled off when washed after first use - clearly isn't fit for purpose.
